How to Unlock the Path to the Flaming Peaks Mission
Before you can begin the mission, you need to unlock it. This process is straightforward but can be easily missed. To unlock the Path to the Flaming Peaks in Genshin Impact 5.5, complete The Way into the Mountain quest.
You can obtain this quest by speaking with the children at the entrance of the Collective of Plenty tribe. They will have a quest icon above their heads, and their names will be marked with a question mark (?). Talk to them to start The Way Into the Mountain quest, which will then unlock Path to the Flaming Peaks.
Part 1: The Way into the Mountain quest, you will receive two sub-quests:

Part 2: Nahuatzin’s Leap Mission in Genshin Impact
Once you finish The Way Into the Mountain quest, the Nahuatzin’s Leap quest will automatically begin. The first objective is to reach the Skyfire Circlet. After using the Spirit Way, you’ll arrive at the volcano’s base and need to ascend to the top. Here’s how:
- First, locate the Qucusaurs and transform into one. Then, navigate across the small islands, gradually making your way to the summit.
- The simplest way to find the correct path is by following the Golden Symbols. Interact with them to summon a phantom Qucusaur that will guide you in the right direction.
- Next, just follow the Qucusaur until you reach the summit. Be sure to collect Phlogiston Dust along the way to maintain continuous flight. Take advantage of wind currents whenever possible to gain altitude effortlessly.
- Once you’ve reached the very top, use the Qucusaur to dive into the crater at the center of the volcano. Take the plunge without hesitation to complete the quest.
Once you dive into the crater, you will unlock the Ancient Sacred Mountain map and complete the Path to the Flaming Peaks mission. You will then receive the Chronicler of the Crumbling City mission, where the Traveler will unravel the mysteries of the Ancient City of Tollan.
