Urubamba Master Trainer is a new NPC from the Collective of the Plenty Tribe, located in Natlan’s Atcopan region in the Genshin Impact 5.5 update. He is searching for his saurians—little Tatankasaurs. Returning these saurians to Urubamba unlocks the Warrior’s Challenge and provides exciting rewards. Below is a guide to all the locations of the Urubamba saurians in Genshin Impact 5.5.
You can find Urubamba near the entrance of Atcopan, northeast of the Collective of Plenty tribe’s camp, which has a nearby Teleport waypoint.
You don’t need to speak with Urubamba to start his puzzle, but you must return to him after finding all the saurians to receive your rewards.
Urubamba Saurian Location 1
The first saurian is slightly south of Urubamba. It rides an automaton enemy and will attack you when approached. Normal attacks are ineffective. Instead, possess a Tatankasaur and charge at the automaton, using the Elemental Skill to smash it and free the little saurian.
Urubamba Saurian Location 2
The next saurian is east of Urubamba’s camp, where you’ll find a Tatankasaur chasing a Tepetlisaur. Get close to the Tepetlisaur and select ‘Catch’ to halt the chase; the saurian will then return to the camp.
Urubamba Saurian Location 3
The third saurian is further east, near a lake, running around a Matador Monetoo. Possess a Tatankasaur and charge at the Matador until it turns into graffiti on a nearby rock. Spray the Tatankasaur graffiti again to free the dinosaur.
Urubamba Saurian Location 4
The fourth saurian is west of the camp, chased by a Hilichurl. Defeat the Hilichurl to rescue the Tatankasaur whelp.
Urubamba Saurian Location 5
Continue west from the fourth location to find a cave entrance guarded by multiple Hilichurls blocking another Tatankasaur whelp. Defeat them to clear the way, allowing the saurian to return to the camp.
Urubamba Saurian Location 6
Enter the cave and defeat more Hilichurls holding a captured Tatankasaur whelp. Once freed, this saurian will also go back to Urubamba, where you can collect your rewards.
Urubamba Saurian Location Puzzle Rewards
After returning all the Tatankasaurs, speak to Urubamba and choose “They are all back now.” He will thank you and reward you with the following chests:
- Exquisite Chest
- Precious Chest
- Normal Chest

Aside from that, heading back to Urubamba will unlock the Warrior’s Challenge. In this mini-game, you’ll transform into a Tatankasaur and race through a timed circuit, collecting coins along the way. Completing the challenge rewards you with exclusive items, making it a fun and worthwhile detour.
