Build A Rocket Boy has released a new explainer trailer for MindsEye, offering the first in-depth look at gameplay ahead of its June 10, 2025 launch. Along with the trailer, the studio unveiled pricing details and a comprehensive post-launch content roadmap.

MindsEye Unveils Gameplay, Platforms, and $60 Launch Price

Helmed by former GTA producer Leslie Benzies, MindsEye is set to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. With its open-world action gameplay, the title looks poised to make a bold impact. The studio has confirmed a launch price of $59.99.

MindsEye is set in the futuristic city of Redrock and follows Jacob Diaz, a former soldier struggling with fragmented memories and a mysterious neural implant. At launch, players can dive into a full single-player campaign, explore an expansive open world, and take on various side activities. Here’s what’s included at release:

  • A linear story campaign
  • Free roam in the open world
  • “Destruction Site Shootout” horde mode
  • Two combat missions: “Honor Amongst Thieves” and “Friendly Fire”
  • Six races, six checkpoint races, and three drone races

There’s also a Deluxe Edition available, which comes with a Premium Pass and exclusive content like the “Exotic Pack.” The Premium Pass unlocks additional missions and unique cosmetic items. And with a $60 price tag, MindsEye stands out in a market where most new AAA titles are launching at $70 or higher.

What truly sets MindsEye apart is its Game Creation System a PC-exclusive toolset that allows players to build their own missions and experiences using the same assets as the developers. This feature transforms the game into a long-term creative platform, rather than just a single-playthrough experience.

MindsEye Pre-Order and Post-Launch Roadmap

As noted earlier, MindsEye will be available in both Standard and Deluxe Editions. Pre-ordering now grants you a free upgrade to the Deluxe Edition. The game is launching on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. But Build A Rocket Boy has plans well beyond launch monthly updates are already in the pipeline, bringing fresh missions, game modes, and content created by both the developers and the community.

The summer update is set to introduce new missions and expanded community tools, while the fall update will bring multiplayer features. Come winter, players can expect enhanced free roam capabilities. According to the studio, this steady rollout of content fueled by both player creations and developer input will keep MindsEye fresh and engaging well into the future.

From the first look, the game gives off strong PS4-era GTA vibes, blended with a Cyberpunk 2077-style aesthetic. With GTA 6 still on the horizon, MindsEye could serve as the perfect distraction for gamers itching for an open-world fix.
