Fresh leaks regarding the Redmi Turbo 5 reveal that the phone is set to launch with an enormous battery and an impressive display setup. Judging by the details, it might feature one of the largest batteries ever fitted into a smartphone.
Redmi Turbo 5 Could Redefine Smartphone Battery Capacity
As per a report from Digital Chat Station, the Redmi Turbo 5 is expected to house a 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery paired with 100W fast charging support. The leak further suggests that the phone could include a 1.5K LTPS OLED screen along with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for enhanced security.
Additionally, the smartphone might come with full waterproof protection, potentially earning an IP68 or IP69 rating. It’s also rumored to sport a metal frame and a minimalist camera layout—likely delivering the standard Redmi imaging experience without major innovations.
The overall design of the Redmi Turbo 5 is said to closely resemble that of its predecessor, the Turbo 4. When asked about the launch timeline, DCS hinted that the device may debut in the first quarter of 2026, aligning with the Turbo 4’s January 2, 2025 release.
