Google has been adding new features to Gemini AI over the past few months, and one of the most anticipated live camera and screen sharing recently became available to some users. This feature, integrated into Gemini Live, lets you share your screen or use your phone’s cameras to get answers to your questions. Initially released last month for Pixel phones, Google has now announced that it will be rolling out to all users starting today.

At Google I/O 2025, Google announced that Gemini Live Camera and Screen Sharing features will soon expand to all Android and iOS devices. These features will be accessible through the free Gemini app starting today.

We tested Gemini’s Live Camera and Screen Sharing features recently, and they were still a work in progress back then. However, during the Google I/O keynote demo, the presenter asked Gemini some silly questions and the AI corrected them smoothly.

Likewise, you can share your screen with Gemini, and it will answer your questions while also using on-device tools like setting up Calendar events, reminders, and more.

Google also shared that Gemini Live will soon connect with other apps, including the Google suite. Just last week at The Android Show, they announced that Gemini Live is coming to Android Auto very soon.
