At its Glowtime event, Apple unveiled the new Apple Intelligence features for the iPhone 16 series. While some of these features are available to iOS 18 beta users, they are not yet accessible to those who prefer to avoid beta updates. When Will Apple Intelligence Be Available?
Apple has unveiled that Apple Intelligence will be available in U.S. English on all supported devices starting in October. The feature is expected to be rolled out with new OS updates throughout the month. If you’re hoping to use Apple Intelligence immediately on your new iPhone 16, you’ll have to wait it will become available next month.
For non-U.S. residents, Apple Intelligence will be available starting in December in the following regions:
- Australia
- Canada
- New Zealand
- South Africa
- United Kingdom
The release of Apple Intelligence in Chinese, French, Japanese, and Spanish is scheduled for 2025. It’s disappointing that India, a significant market for Apple, is not included in the initial rollout.

Which Apple Intelligence Features Will be Available on Release

According to the latest report by Mark Gurman, Apple has postponed key AI features such as Genmoji and Image Playground to the iOS 18.2 beta, which may be released in December. As a result, these features will not be available at the initial launch of Apple Intelligence. Additionally, ChatGPT Integration and the new Siri with contextual awareness are anticipated to arrive in 2025.
