The strongest beings in this universe are the Aeons, followed by the Emanators, who are favored by each Aeon. What is an Emanator in Honkai Star Rail?
In Honkai Star Rail, ‘Paths‘ represent groups of imaginary energy derived from behavioral concepts. Players, known as Pathstriders, align with these philosophies to gain power. Aeons are Pathstriders who have fully embraced their chosen path, making them the strongest beings in the Honkai Star Rail universe and akin to God-like entities.
Emanators are specialized Pathstriders sanctioned by their path’s Aeon to draw power directly from it. They are among the most powerful beings in their respective paths, second only to the Aeon.
All Known HSR Emanators
While many Emanators are mentioned in Honkai Star Rail lore, only a few appear in the game. Here are the identified Emanators:
HSR Emanators of Destruction
Six Emanators of Destruction, or Lord Ravagers, are known, with only one, Phantylia, featuring in the game.
- Phantylia: The main antagonist in the Xianzhou Luofu trailblaze mission who resurrected Abrosial Arbor by possessing Tingyun, ultimately defeated by the Trailblazer during the Desolate Depths of Despair mission.
- Calenova: Mentioned in the List of Archenemies Ruin Scroll as a front-line General of Nanook, her forces have clashed with Xianzhou ships Yaoqing, Zhuming, and Fanghu.
- Irontomb: Also referenced in the List of Archenemies, noted for his capability to attack technologically advanced civilizations.
- Sun Devourer: Though his real name is unknown, he’s known among survivors of the Yvanna system for allegedly extinguishing one-third of the stars in the Yvanna chain starzone for nearly 300 years.
- Zephyro: Also called Scorching Flare, he is believed to have been responsible for the destruction of the Tia’nua galaxy and is depicted as a one-man army dedicated to violent destruction.
- Zuro: Currently, only his name is known.
HSR Emanators of Erudition
Only two Emanators of Erudition are known, both recognized as geniuses within the Genius Society.

- Diamond: Leader of Ten Stonehearts and founder of its Non-Performing Asset Liquidation Specialist, Diamond is ranked P47 head of the Strategic Investment Department in IPC and assigned Aventurine for Penacony.
- Taravan Keane: Ranked P48 Head of the Material Logistics Department and one of the Seven Board Directors of IPC.
HSR Emanators of Abundance
Two Emanators of Abundance are named, both part of the Denizens of Abundance faction.
