Since then, fans have been eagerly speculating which characters from the Fate series would join the game. Now, HoYoverse has officially revealed two 5-star characters for the crossover event. Characters in the Honkai Star Rail x Fate Stay Night Collaboration
The Honkai Star Rail x Fate Stay Night collaboration, titled Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail, will introduce two new 5-star characters: Archer and Saber. Both will appear in the Honkai Star Rail 3.4 banners, launching on July 11, 2025.
While both characters can be obtained through the banners, players will receive a free copy of Archer simply by logging into the game anytime between July 11, 2025, and the end of Honkai Star Rail version 3.6.
Archer
Archer is introduced as a 5-star Hunt character specializing in Quantum damage. Known for being a steadfast ally of justice, he stands firmly against the world’s hypocrisy. According to his Drip Marketing, Archer seeks to bring justice to anyone who weaves “phantasmal sweet dreams” disguised as false ideals.
Meeting him for the first time? Just call him Archer. Luckily, we’re not enemies here—so let’s try to keep things civil, at least for now.
Saber
Saber is a 5-star Destruction character who deals Wind-type damage. She is a young maiden summoned for this unique version of the Holy Grail War. Unlike Archer, Saber is a lone Heroic Spirit who has endured the long night of Fate. Her Drip Marketing hints that the legendary Sword in the Stone is choosing once again, leaving players to wonder how Saber will break free from the illusions of her past this time.

Although not officially confirmed, there are strong hints that Honkai Star Rail 3.4 and the HSR x Fate Stay Night collaboration might take players back to Penacony. This theory stems from the Drip Marketing for both new characters, which talks about breaking illusions of the past and confronting dreams—themes closely tied to Penacony’s storyline. Additionally, the background imagery in Saber’s Drip Marketing seems to depict Penacony, featuring familiar locations and characters like Aventurine, Robin, Jade, Boothill, and Mr. Reca.
