Genshin Impact Venti Build: Best Teams, Weapons, Artifacts

The Anemo Archon Venti is returning to the banners in Genshin Impact 5.5. As an Anemo bow user, Venti excels at dealing swirl damage by grouping enemies. He has been a playable character since the game’s launch, leading to various build iterations over the years. To assist Venti mains, here’s an updated build featuring new teams, artifacts, and weapons.

Best Venti Build in Genshin Impact

Venti can be built as either an Elemental Mastery (EM) support or a Crit DPS. The EM build remains the optimal choice, although the Crit build is entertaining as well. Here’s the ideal EM build for Venti:

  • Artifact: Viridescent Venerer (4-piece)
  • Weapons: Elegy for the End, The Stringless
  • Main Stats: EM (Sands), EM (Goblet), EM (Circlet)
  • Sub Stats: Energy Recharge (200%) > EM > Attack% = Crit Rate > Crit Damage
  • Team: Venti, Ganyu, Citlali, Sangonomiya Kokomi

If you prefer variations on the EM build or want to explore a Crit build, the following sections include alternative options.

Venti Artifacts in Genshin Impact

  • Viridescent Venerer (4-piece)
  • Glided Dreams (4-piece)
  • Emblem of Severed Fate (4-piece)
  • Wanderer’s Troupe and The Instructor (2-piece each)
  • The Instructor (4-piece)

Viridescent Venerer remains the best artifact set for Venti, regardless of whether you’re building him for Crit or Elemental Mastery. As the strongest Anemo set in the game, it boosts Anemo damage by 15% and enhances Swirl damage by 60%. Additionally, enemies affected by Swirl will have their Elemental Resistance reduced by 40% for the corresponding element. If you have a well-rolled Viridescent Venerer set, there’s no need to consider alternative artifacts for Venti.

However, if your best Viridescent Venerer sets are already in use or you prefer not to farm for it, consider Gilded Dreams for an Elemental Mastery build or Emblem of Severed Fate for a Crit-focused build.

Alternatively, a 2-piece combination of Wanderer’s Troupe and The Instructor or a full 4-piece Instructor set can serve as decent backups if you lack the other options.

EM Venti Build Stats:

Stats for EM Venti build:

    • Sands: EM%
    • Goblet: EM%
    • Circlet: EM%
    • Sub-stats: ER > EM > ATK% = Crit Rate > Crit DMG

For an Elemental Mastery (EM) Venti build in Genshin Impact, your first priority should be meeting the Energy Recharge (ER) requirement. If Venti is the only Anemo character on the team, aim for at least 200% ER to ensure consistent burst uptime. Once that’s covered, focus on stacking Elemental Mastery, followed by Attack %. Keep in mind that Crit stats are not a priority for this build, as Venti’s damage primarily scales with EM rather than Crit.

    Crit Venti Build Stats:

    • Sands: ATK%
    • Goblet: Anemo Damage % > ATK%
    • Circlet: Crit Rate = Crit Damage
    • Sub-stats: ER > Crit Rate = Crit Damage > ATK % > EM

In the Crit build, also start with a goal of 200% Energy Recharge. After that, focus on Crit Rate and Crit Damage over EM, maintaining the ideal 1:2 ratio for Crit stats, and finally prioritize Attack %. Flat stats and EM rank lower in importance for this build.

Best Venti Weapons (Bow) in Genshin Impact

    • Elegy for the End
    • Polar Star
    • The Stringless
    • Aqua Simulacra
    • Skyward Harp
    • Mouun’s Moon
    • Alley Hunter
    • Prototype Crescent
    • Favonius Warbow

For an Elemental Mastery (EM) Venti build in Genshin Impact, Elegy for the End is the best bow, while a Crit-focused Venti performs best with the 5-star Polar Star. Among 4-star options, The Stringless stands out as the best choice for both builds.

If you don’t have these three weapons, viable 5-star alternatives include Aqua Simulacra and Skyward Harp. For 4-star options, Mouun’s Moon, Alley Hunter, Prototype Crescent, and Favonius Warbow are decent picks for Venti.

    Venti Teams in Genshin Impact

    • Venti-Ganyu Freeze: Venti, Ganyu, Citlali/Shenhe, Sangonomiya Kokomi/Kamisato Ayato
    • Electro Charged: Venti, Yelan/Xingqiu/Sangonomiya Kokomi, Fischl/Beidou, Xilonen/Kazuha
    • Pyro Swirl: Venti, Kazuha, Bennett, Mavuika/Yoimiya/Klee
    • Anemo Hypercarry: Venti, Wanderer/Xiao, Faruzan, Bennett/Iansan

Freeze teams remain Venti’s strongest team composition, with Ganyu Freeze teams being the most effective at maximizing his utility. Ganyu’s Ice Shards from her Burst synergize exceptionally well with Venti’s crowd control. With Citlali’s release, she serves as a superior Cryo applier compared to Shenhe, though both are solid choices for a Venti-Ganyu Freeze team. For Hydro application, Sangonomiya Kokomi or Kamisato Ayato are ideal picks, while Yelan and Xingqiu can also work if you have them available.

Electro-Charged teams are another top-tier option for Venti. Pair him with Yelan, Xingqiu, or Kokomi for Hydro application, and use Fischl or Beidou to apply Electro. For the fourth slot, any strong support or healer can work. Kazuha enhances damage with Elemental buffs and resistance shred, while Xilonen brings additional support benefits, making both excellent choices.

Pyro Swirl teams are another strong option for Venti, especially after the release of the Pyro Archon, Mavuika. A core setup includes Venti, Kazuha, and Bennett, providing crowd control, resistance shred, and healing. For the fourth slot, Mavuika, Yoimiya, or Klee are ideal choices due to their fast Pyro application. Xiangling is also an option, though her slower Pyro application makes her less synergistic compared to the others.

Lastly, Anemo Hypercarry teams work well with Venti. Use Xiao or Wanderer as the main DPS, with Faruzan for Anemo damage boosts, and Bennett or Iansan to enhance overall team damage.
