Inspired by the FAMAS, this Assault Rifle was previously featured in Black Ops: Cold War. While it didn’t dominate the meta back then, it offered a great mix of fast fire rate and solid control. How to Unlock the FFAR 1 in Black Ops 6 and Warzone
To get your hands on the FFAR 1 in BO6 and Warzone, you’ll need to complete Page Six of the Season 4 Battle Pass. The good news? The weapon is completely free, so there’s no need to buy the Premium rewards track. However, you’ll still need to rack up plenty of XP to unlock tiers and finish Page Six. Additionally, there’s a special Blueprint for the FFAR 1 waiting on Page 11 that might be worth grabbing too.
As with every season, the Season 4 Battle Pass comes with an expiration date, so you’ll need to unlock the AR before time runs out. If you happen to miss it, don’t worry the FFAR 1 will be made available through the Armory at a later time.
The FFAR 1 is a Bullpup Assault Rifle known for its “very high rate of fire and excellent close-quarters power,” though it comes with trade-offs like slower handling and mobility. Its rapid fire rate puts it on par with many SMGs, but that speed also brings a more erratic recoil pattern. Because of this, it’s best used in short bursts going full-auto while moving could throw your aim way off.
The FFAR 1 is designed for close to mid-range combat, making it a strong pick across most Black Ops 6 maps and a solid sniper support option in Verdansk. To get the most out of it, you’ll want to equip the right loadout, and according to the devs, the FFAR 1 will support a range of Underbarrel Launcher attachments.
