Android is gearing up to simplify the process of syncing all your devices

An expert in the realm of Android has let us in on an exciting development: Google is cooking up a new feature that will foster seamless connections among Android devices linked to a single account. This concept bears a striking resemblance to Apple’s well-known Continuity feature. Much like its Apple counterpart, this upcoming feature will allow users to seamlessly manage calls between their iPhone and other devices like Macs and iPads, as long as they’re under the same network.

Imagine having all your Android devices synced under one Google account. This convergence is set to unlock two nifty functionalities: Call Switching and Internet Sharing. Call Switching does exactly what it sounds like – it lets you switch ongoing calls between devices with utmost ease. On the flip side, Internet Sharing offers a hassle-free method of sharing your primary device’s network connection with your other Android gadgets, much like how a mobile hotspot operates.

Interestingly, an intriguing screenshot has surfaced, hinting that the Call Switching prowess will extend its capabilities beyond the boundaries of a single Android phone. Unlike Apple’s setup, which confines call-taking to iPads, Macs, and MacBooks, Android’s approach seems to embrace a broader spectrum of devices.

While Google hasn’t officially unveiled this feature just yet, the perceptive insights of Mishaal Rahman point to a potential “Link Your Device” function that could find its home nestled within the Settings menu, specifically residing under Google > Devices & Sharing sub-section. Although this feature remains on the horizon without any concrete announcement from Google, it’s an exciting prospect that could usher in a new era of device connectivity and convenience within the Android ecosystem.
