New Agent Tejo Joins Valorant
The standout feature of the Season 25 Act 1 patch notes is the introduction of Tejo, Valorant’s 7th initiator, equipped with powerful abilities to change gameplay dynamics.

SPECIAL DELIVERY
- Equip: Sticky grenade.
- Fire: Launches the grenade, which sticks to the first surface and explodes, concussing nearby enemies.
- Alt Fire: Launches the grenade with a bounce before sticking.
Stealth Drone
- Equip: Stealth drone.
- Fire: Throws the drone forward for direct control.
- Fire again: Emits a pulse that uncovers and suppresses nearby enemies.
Guided Salvo
- Equip: AR targeting system.
- Fire: Selects up to two target locations.
- Alt Fire: Launches missiles that navigate to the selected spots and detonate on arrival.
Armageddon
- Equip: Tactical strike targeting map.
- Fire: Selects the strike’s origin point.
- Fire again: Selects the end point and launches the attack, causing explosions along the path.
Valorant Patch 10 General Updates
Valorant is transitioning to Annual Seasons with patch 10, eliminating Episodes:
- Season 2025: A year-long season featuring six Acts for ongoing celebrations.
- Rank Resets: Ranks will reset at the start of Season 2025, with an additional mid-season reset.

- Map Updates and Rotation:
- Starting with Patch 10.00, maps will rotate every Act, with specific map pools announced after each Act begins. Fracture and Lotus are back in Competitive and Deathmatch queues, while Ascent and Sunset have been removed.

On January 15, the V25A1 stage begins, bringing the following updates:

- Zone Seeding: Demoted teams are placed in their original promotion zone.
- Zone Flexibility: Team Owners can change their team’s zone before the first match of the new stage via the “Team Settings” dropdown.
- Zone Selection: If automatic placement fails, Team Owners must manually select a suitable zone.

Agents:
- General: Fixed an issue causing some agent abilities to show the wrong team color for observers.

- General: Removed lingering flashbang visuals for observers and fixed hit confirmation sounds for players with Regen Shields when not visible to enemies.
Weapons:
- General: Corrected an issue where weapons unexpectedly exited and re-entered ADS while aiming.
