Xiaomi’s upcoming Mix Fold 3 has made its way through Geekbench, revealing an interesting twist. The prototype device showcased an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, reaching a Prime core speed of 3.36 GHz. This matches the performance previously seen on Samsung’s “Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy.” The Geekbench results displayed a single-core score of 2,071 and a multi-core score of 5,419, running on Android 13 and equipped with 16GB of RAM. Variants with different memory configurations are expected.
Leaks and rumors suggest that the Mix Fold 3 will sport an 8.02-inch inner screen with “2K” resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, complemented by a 6.5-inch FHD+ outer screen with the same refresh rate. Notably, it will feature an under-display selfie camera on the inner screen and a 4,800 mAh battery supporting 67W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The device will boast a quad-camera setup on the rear, including a 50 MP main camera, telephoto lens, ultrawide lens, and a periscope zoom camera. Impressively, the Mix Fold 3 aims to be the slimmest horizontal foldable smartphone to date. Xiaomi is set to unveil all the official details at its event on August 14.
