The official PS5 Pro announcement could be just around the corner, as Sony has scheduled a special “Technical Presentation” for tomorrow. This revelation follows the recent 30th-anniversary tease of the PS5 Pro. With Mark Cerny, the lead architect of the PS5, hosting the event, it’s highly likely that this will be the PS5 Pro reveal live stream.
It’s worth noting that Cerny was also the spokesperson for the PS5’s technical presentation back in 2020. Since he revealed the PS5’s specs at its unveiling, it makes sense for him to do the same for the PS5 Pro.
According to the official blog post, the “Technical Presentation” stream will be a 9-minute event. You can catch the Sony PS5 Pro Technical Presentation, hosted by Mark Cerny, on the PlayStation YouTube channel. The stream is set to go live on September 10 at 8:00 AM PT (11:00 AM ET / 4:00 PM BST).
Previously, well-known leaker bilbil-kun shared details about the PS5 Pro design and hinted at an announcement date. After the design was teased in Sony’s anniversary poster, the design leak was nearly confirmed. The leaker also predicted the PS5 Pro announcement for early September 2024, a timeline that has been corroborated by several other sources.
We’ve long known that the former Codename Trinity refers to the PS5 Pro, and earlier this year, multiple rumors about its specs surfaced. Now, it looks like the official reveal of the highly anticipated PS5 Pro is just around the corner.
With Sony scheduling a “Technical Presentation” for tomorrow, a PS5 Pro announcement seems highly likely. What do you think? Will the presentation focus on the PS5 Pro? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
