The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra continues to generate massive excitement in the rumor circuit. While plenty of details have already surfaced about the upcoming flagship, a fresh leak has appeared online through an unofficial case listing. This new discovery doesn’t just confirm the phone’s design but also discloses some noteworthy features.
Galaxy S26 Ultra may include Qi 2.2 wireless charging protocol
Renowned case manufacturer Thinborne has launched a dedicated webpage for the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, showcasing its Aramid Fiber case. The product images reveal a raised camera module accommodating three lenses within a pill-shaped island, while the remaining two sensors are positioned separately—similar to the layout seen in past Galaxy S-series models.
This aligns perfectly with an earlier case leak, which highlighted an identical back panel design and overall form factor. However, the standout revelation here is the unofficial confirmation of Qi 2.2 wireless charging for the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
For context, the Qi 2.2 25W wireless charging protocol was officially introduced by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) in July 2025. It enhances the previous Qi 2.0 standard, offering 25W fast charging and MagSafe-like compatibility for Android devices.
The Google Pixel 10 Pro XL was the first Android device to support this new protocol, and now, the Galaxy S26 Ultra appears to be the second. Other than this, the listing provides no additional insights into the device’s specs. However, reports confirm it will come powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and run on One UI 8.5 based on Android 16.
Additional leaked details point to a 5,000mAh battery with 60W USB-C fast charging support. The camera setup is rumored to include a 200MP primary sensor with a wider f/1.4 aperture. The 3x telephoto lens may see a slight downgrade with a smaller sensor, but it will still feature a 10MP resolution. Meanwhile, the 50MP ultrawide and 5x periscope cameras are expected to remain unchanged.
That being said, recent reports suggest that the Galaxy S26 series launch has been delayed and will no longer debut in January 2026 as initially predicted. With more time before its official reveal, we can expect further leaks and details to emerge in the near future.
