Redmi Note 13 5G Series Set to Launch in India on January 4


Xiaomi is preparing to unveil the Redmi Note 13 series in India following its recent launch in China. Scheduled for January 4, 2024, the new Redmi Note phones will succeed last year’s Redmi Note 12 series. The company had recently introduced the Redmi 13C series in India.

The announcement arrived through an X post, accompanied by a dedicated microsite for the impending launch. Comprising three models, Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+, all three are expected to debut in India. Xiaomi has commenced teasing the phones, hinting at more details soon to come.

What to Expect of Redmi Note 13 Series ?

Among the Redmi Note 13 series, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ stands out with its distinctive leather finish and a remarkable 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display. Sporting a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive peak brightness of 1800 nits, this model boasts top-tier features.

Under the hood, it runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset, coupled with a maximum of 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Its camera setup comprises a 200MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera, complemented by a 16MP front-facing camera. Other notable features include support for 120W fast charging, MIUI 14, dual stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and more.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro, a slightly scaled-back version of the Pro+ model, features a flat-screen display. Running on the latest Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, it boasts a 5,100mAh battery with 67W fast charging, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and more. Meanwhile, the standard Redmi Note 13 offers an AMOLED 120Hz display, MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC, a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, and a 100MP primary camera, among other features.
