Originally launched with the OnePlus 13 series, Mind Space serves as a digital assistant and memory tool designed to streamline daily tasks. OnePlus has now revealed that Mind Space will receive an upgrade with Gemini, enhancing its capabilities even further.
OnePlus Mind Space Integrates with Gemini for Smarter Assistance on OxygenOS 16
OnePlus India’s official X account confirmed that Gemini will soon access information from Mind Space on OxygenOS 16. A post illustrating Gemini helping to “plan a 5-day trip to Paris using content from Mind Space” gives a clear glimpse of how this new feature will function.
Using prompts, Gemini can gather all Paris trip-related details and present users with the most efficient way to plan their itinerary. Currently, Gemini already works with several OnePlus apps such as Notes and Clock, and Mind Space is now joining that list.
This new integration offers compelling reasons for users to adopt both Gemini and Mind Space on OnePlus devices. For example, users won’t need to provide Gemini with the complete context, which can save significant time and effort.
With this integration, Mind Space becomes more practical, as users no longer need to choose between Google’s Reminders and Tasks apps. The Gemini upgrade adds significant value to Mind Space on OnePlus devices.
However, OnePlus notes that the Mind Space–Gemini integration will be limited to flagship models. This currently includes the OnePlus 12, 12R, 13, 13R, and 13s, all of which support Mind Space and are among the few devices compatible with OxygenOS 16.
Other anticipated features in OxygenOS 16 include enhanced lock screen customization, such as new clock styles and widgets.
