India is expected to be among the first countries to experience a smartphone powered by the Dimensity 9500 chip, as Oppo has officially announced the launch of its flagship models — Find X9 and Find X9 Pro — in November 2025. The company made this announcement during the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 event.
Oppo Find X9 to Feature Dimensity 9500 Chipset and 200MP Primary Camera
The Oppo Find X9 is confirmed to come with MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9500 processor and a 200-megapixel main camera. The smartphone is scheduled to debut in China on October 16, 2025, giving us an early look before its India release. Following the recent introduction of the Dimensity 9500, it was already anticipated that Oppo’s upcoming Find X9 series would be among the first to incorporate the new chipset.

Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro are confirmed to be the world’s first smartphones to feature the Dimensity 9500 processor. The planned India launch in November 2025 could make the country one of the earliest markets to experience MediaTek’s latest flagship chipset.
The Dimensity 9500, built using TSMC’s advanced 3nm fabrication process, features an All-Core CPU design that reportedly boosts single-core performance by 32% and multi-core efficiency by 17% compared to its predecessor, the Dimensity 9400. Additionally, it offers up to 55% better power efficiency. The integrated Arm G1-Ultra GPU further enhances graphical performance, enabling console-level ray tracing for a more immersive visual experience.

Photography continues to be a major highlight for Oppo, as the Find X9 series will come equipped with cameras fine-tuned in collaboration with Hasselblad. The Find X9 Pro is set to take center stage with its impressive 200MP primary sensor. Oppo has also revealed the color options for the lineup — Chasing Red, Frosty White, and Velvet Titanium — while the standard Find X9 will additionally be available in a sleek Fog Black variant.
On the hardware front, the Find X9 will house a massive 7,000mAh battery, whereas the Pro model will be powered by a larger 7,500mAh unit. Both devices will debut with the latest ColorOS 16 right out of the box, placing them at the forefront of Oppo’s software rollout. The series will also integrate Oppo’s Trinity Engine technology, designed to optimize overall performance by intelligently managing the phone’s RAM, ROM, and CPU resources.
