Reports suggest that the Find X9 Ultra could be the only model in the Find X9 lineup powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Oppo’s upcoming flagship, the “Find X Ultra” successor, is expected to debut as the Find X9 Ultra. While its official launch is still a few months away, leaks continue to surface the latest focusing on its advanced camera configuration.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra May Debut as the First Smartphone with Dual Periscope Cameras
As per well-known tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS), Oppo’s forthcoming “Ultra” model is expected to stand out in the Find X9 lineup by featuring a dual periscope telephoto camera setup a first for any smartphone in the series.

Although this might not sound like a huge upgrade especially since the Find X8 Ultra also came with a comparable camera arrangement the key distinction lies in the Find X9 Ultra’s exclusivity.
To put things into perspective, the previous Find X8 Pro also sported a dual telephoto camera setup. However, the upcoming Find X9 Pro appears to take a different route, reportedly featuring just a single 200MP telephoto sensor.

If these reports turn out to be accurate, the Find X9 Ultra could become an even more appealing flagship contender upon its launch next year. In addition, a previous leak from Digital Chat Station suggested that the device might feature a 200MP primary sensor with a 1/1.1-inch size marking a notable upgrade from the 50MP main camera found on the Find X8 Ultra.
Find X9 Ultra Upgraded to Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
When it comes to exclusivity, the Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro are reportedly set to use the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. Following Oppo’s previous “Ultra” launch pattern, the Find X9 Ultra is likely to differentiate itself by featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
The device may also sport a 6.8-inch 2K LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, it is expected to come with a battery exceeding 7,000 mAh and run on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is anticipated to be officially unveiled in the second quarter (Q2) of 2026. Keep an eye out for full coverage of the device here at Beebom Gadgets.
