The device carries a design similar to the Phone (3a) but incorporates the internals of the CMF Phone 2 Pro.
Nothing has expanded its Phone (3a) lineup with the introduction of the Phone (3a) Lite. As the name implies, it’s a thoughtfully simplified version offering impressive specifications at an affordable rate. Here’s what the latest model from Nothing brings.
Nothing Phone (3a) Lite Arrives with Asymmetrical Cameras and Single Glyph Light
Starting with its design, the Phone (3a) Lite adopts a toned-down version of the Phone 3’s aesthetic, retaining the brand’s signature transparent build. It sports a clear Panda Glass top layer with a nano-textured plastic surface beneath, showcasing the device’s unique asymmetric industrial design.

Similar to the Phone 3, the Phone (3a) Lite also features a misaligned triple rear camera setup without a dedicated camera deco. Instead of the new Glyph Matrix, this model revives the iconic Glyph LED, now reduced to a single glowing dot.
This single LED, dubbed the Glyph Light, responds to incoming calls, app alerts, and Essential Notifications. It also supports the Flip to Glyph DND feature, allowing it to react to sounds and ringtones.

On the front, the smartphone comes equipped with a 6.77-inch Full HD+ flexible AMOLED panel that offers a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits peak brightness. The display’s uniform bezels enhance its premium appearance, while Panda Glass protection ensures durability on both sides.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro processor, the same chipset found in the CMF Phone 2 Pro, priced at Rs 18,999.

In terms of software, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite runs on Nothing OS 3.5 based on Android 15. However, unlike the earlier models, this version includes pre-installed third-party apps and a feature called Lock Glimpse, which shows ads on the lock screen—though users can disable it easily.
Despite the changes, it retains signature features such as lockscreen widgets, monochrome app icons, and Essential Space. The company guarantees 3 years of major software updates and 4 years of security patches.

Moving to the camera setup, the Phone (3a) Lite houses a triple rear camera configuration. It includes a 50 MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2 MP macro sensor, marking Nothing’s first use of a macro camera.
At the front, there’s a 16 MP selfie camera with an f/1.45 aperture, capable of recording videos up to 4K at 30fps.

For power, the device features a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast USB-C charging and 5W reverse wired charging support.
Additional specifications include an in-display fingerprint sensor, mono speaker, IP54 rating, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, dual 5G SIM compatibility, and a USB-C 2.0 port.

The Phone (3a) Lite has been launched in the UK at £249 (around Rs 29,000) for the 8GB + 128GB variant, and is available in White and Black.
Reports suggest that Nothing could introduce the device in India by November 2025. Given its pricing strategy, it’s expected to be positioned below Rs 20,000, placing it between the CMF Phone 2 Pro and Nothing Phone (3a). However, the company has yet to confirm an official India launch date.
