Google’s Find My Device app has been a trusted tool for years. A while back, Google updated it with a Material You redesign and added features to simplify tracking your belongings. Now, at the Android Show, Google revealed that Find My Device is getting even more new features and a fresh new name: Find Hub. Here’s everything you need to know.
In its latest blog post, Google confirmed that Find My Device is being renamed to Find Hub, along with several new features. These include support for UWB tags like the Moto tag, integration with Satellite Connectivity, and tools to help you stay connected with friends and family. For those unfamiliar, Google recently introduced a People section in Find My Device, making it easier for users and their contacts to share live locations.

Additionally, Google is partnering with airlines to let you register your finder tags for easier luggage recovery if it gets lost. Luggage brands like July and Mokabara have also teamed up with Google to offer bags with built-in tracking.
While the app’s interface won’t see major changes, Google is expected to roll out more features and update the design with Material 3 Expressive in Android 16. The new Google Find Hub experience will be coming soon.
