The unveiling of Marvel’s Blade occurred on The 2023 Game Awards stage, presenting a teaser trailer as the first glimpse. The trailer opens in a barbershop, with an ominous warning broadcasted, urging citizens to seek shelter as the sun dips below the horizon.
In the trailer, announcements echo in both French and English as it offers a peek into our hero’s visit to a barber. Amidst the snippets, we witness Blade getting a haircut before the scene intensifies with gunshots, signaling a night of action ahead.
While the trailer refrains from revealing gameplay, Arkane developers, joining Geoff Keighley, shared some tidbits about the forthcoming superhero game. Marvel’s Blade is set in France and is designed as a single-player action-adventure title. Expectations hint at the incorporation of Arkane’s signature gameplay formula into this new venture.
