Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2: New Features

Logitech’s G Pro X Superlight 2 boasts an upgraded Hero 2 sensor with a remarkable 32,000 DPI and a tracking rating of 500+ IPS. The polling rate has doubled to 2000Hz from the previous generation, and this sensor is referred to as the Hero 25K. The mouse’s weight has been reduced by approximately 3g, resulting in a featherweight of 60g.

However, the most significant enhancement Logitech introduces is the connectivity of the new G Pro X Superlight 2, which now features a USB Type-C port, a long-awaited upgrade. The mouse retains the same shape and coating as its predecessor, which is a positive aspect.

For many esports professionals, especially those who play Counter-Strike and Valorant, the predecessor was the mouse of choice. With the new features introduced in this successor, Logitech ensures a seamless transition for many players.

Logitech has also revamped the mouse buttons, incorporating new Lightforce switches that are a hybrid of optical and mechanical switches. These switches enhance durability, relying on light for actuations thanks to optical micro-switch technology.

Regarding battery life, the G Pro X Superlight 2 offers a 26% improvement over its predecessor, providing up to 95 hours of usage with Logitech’s Lightspeed Wireless technology. The mouse features zero-additive PTFE feet for a smooth glide.
