Microsoft is currently testing a card-like interface on the About page in Windows Settings in a recent Insider Beta build. This new design showcases essential hardware information, including storage, graphics card details, memory, and processor specifications, in a more user-friendly way.
You won’t need to open Task Manager or System Information (msinfo32) to access critical hardware information on your Windows 11 PC anymore. This feature, discovered by Windows watcher phantomofearth, mirrors the redesigned About page seen in previous Windows 10 Insider builds.

To enable this revamped About page on Windows 11, join the Windows Insider Beta channel and install the latest build, 22635.4660. Then, set up ViveTool and run the command vivetool /enable /id:51784082,54618938
. Restart your PC, and if the card doesn’t show up, execute this command as well: vivetool /enable /id:48433719
.
Microsoft introduced a “Home” page in the Settings app with the Windows 11 23H2 update in 2023. This page features Recommended settings, Bluetooth devices, wallpapers, color mode, and ads for Microsoft 365 and OneDrive. While some users dislike the new Home page, the redesigned About page should benefit general consumers.
