Huawei has broadened its wearable lineup in India with the introduction of the Huawei Watch D2. This high-end, health-oriented smartwatch comes with features such as Blood Pressure Monitoring and ECG functionality.
Huawei Watch D2 Brings Advanced Health Monitoring with ABPM
The Huawei Watch D2 stands out with its capability to track blood pressure using a 26mm built-in mechanical airbag embedded in the strap. Additionally, it offers single-lead ECG readings, enabling users to detect irregular heart rhythms—similar to the recently launched Huawei Watch GT 6 series.
This functionality is supported by additional health-tracking sensors, including SpO2, skin temperature, heart rate, sleep, and stress monitoring. Huawei also states that the smartwatch has obtained medical device certifications in both Europe and China.
In terms of specifications, the Watch D2 sports a 1.82-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 408 x 408 pixels and peak brightness of 1,500 nits. Constructed from aluminum alloy, the watch comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Its design is reminiscent of the Apple Watch, featuring a square dial and a rotating crown.
Other typical smartwatch features include Bluetooth calling, letting users answer or reject calls directly from the wrist, and viewing notifications on both Android and iOS devices.
The Huawei Watch D2 is compatible with the Huawei Health app and offers support for more than 80 workout modes. Additionally, the smartwatch provides up to 7 days of battery life on a single charge.
Huawei Watch D2 Priced at the Premium End
The Huawei Watch D2 comes in two color options—Black and Gold—and is available for purchase on Amazon and Flipkart at an introductory price of ₹33,499 until October 5, 2025. After this period, the price will increase to ₹34,499.
This pricing places the Watch D2 alongside some of the top-tier smartwatches globally, such as the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic and the Pixel Watch 4 launched earlier this year. It remains to be seen whether Huawei can attract attention with the D2’s focus on delivering precise health monitoring features.
