Alongside the Magic 8 series smartphones, Honor has introduced its latest premium tablet — the MagicPad 3 Pro. This device is the first tablet to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Here’s a complete look at what it brings.
Honor boosts the MagicPad 3 Pro with a powerful 12,450mAh battery
The MagicPad 3 Pro boasts a 13.3-inch 3.2K LCD display offering a 165Hz refresh rate and 1,100 nits peak brightness. Its design closely resembles the MagicPad 3, featuring a 5.79mm slim aluminum frame and a square-shaped rear camera module.
The highlight of the tablet lies in its internal hardware. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, the same processor found in the Honor Magic 8 Pro. The device offers up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, operating on MagicOS 10 based on Android 6.
Powering the device is a 12,450mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging, while Honor includes a 66W charger in the box. The tablet features a 13MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP macro sensor, while the front camera has a 9MP lens with f/2.2 aperture.
For connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port. Honor also offers accessories such as the Magic Pencil 3 and a smart touch keyboard. For audio, the tablet includes an 8-speaker system with three microphones designed for clear audio and video calls.
Additionally, Honor unveiled a 12.5-inch version of the existing MagicPad 3. It carries the same internal specifications, including a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, and a 10,100mAh battery, paired with a 12.5-inch 3K 165Hz LCD display.
MagicPad 3 Pro opens for pre-orders in China
The Honor MagicPad 3 Pro will be available in Glossy Gold, Starry Sky Gray, and Moon Shadow White colors. It comes in three configurations: 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB. The base model starts at 3,999 CNY (approximately ₹49,300), and pre-orders are live on Honor’s official China store.
Meanwhile, the MagicPad 3 (12.5-inch) variant will be sold in Starry Night, Moon Shadow White, Purple, and Pine Tree Green color options, priced from 2,999 CNY (around ₹37,000).
