Honkai Star Rail Set to Join Nvidia GeForce Now Cloud Gaming Service

Honkai Star Rail stands out as one of the prominent gacha TRPG games, garnering widespread popularity across various platforms – Mobile, PC, and consoles. Following its dominance in the mobile gaming landscape in 2023 and securing the title of Best Mobile Game of the Year, this acclaimed gacha game is poised to extend its reach further by making its debut on Nvidia’s GeForce Now cloud gaming service.

Earlier today, the official Nvidia GeForce Now account shared the Penacony trailer and officially confirmed that Honkai Star Rail is set to arrive on GeForce Now. Despite this, GeForce Now will not mark the first foray into cloud gaming for Honkai Star Rail, as it is already accessible on Now.gg, another cloud gaming service.

The announcement coincides with Honkai Star Rail gearing up for the launch of one of its most significant updates, introducing an entirely new world – Penacony, complete with distinctive puzzles, travel mechanics, and characters. Although the specific date for HSR’s inclusion in GeForce Now remains undisclosed, it’s reasonable to anticipate that it will align with the release of Honkai Star Rail version 2.0 on February 8th, 2024.

As of the end of 2023, Nvidia’s GeForce Now service boasts a subscriber base of over 25 million, making it a prominent player in the cloud gaming sphere. The platform already offers a lineup of major titles, including renowned games like Baldur’s Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077, and Forza Horizon 5.

The addition of Honkai Star Rail to GeForce Now during the launch of one of its most substantial updates provides gamers with yet another incentive to explore Nvidia’s cloud gaming service.
