Honkai Star Rail: March 7th’s Old Name Reveal in Leaks

In Honkai Star Rail, March 7th stands as one of the Trailblazer’s earliest companions, alongside Dan Heng. Her cheerful and enthusiastic demeanor contrasts with the mystery shrouding her unknown past. Unveiling her true identity has been a significant enigma for Honkai Star Rail fans, and a recent leak from UBatcha, a reputable HSR leaker, might shed some light on this intriguing story.

The leak discloses that March 7th was formerly known as ‘Celimene’ in 2021. The name ‘Celimene,’ signifying ‘Heavenly Moon‘ or ‘Heavenly Strength,’ originates from the 17th-century French playwright Molière, as a character in his play Le Misanthrope.

The true origin of whether ‘Celimene’ is March 7th’s original name remains speculative. Earlier leaks suggested ‘Eileen’ as a potential name for March 7th, which also carries the meaning of ‘Strength,’ presenting a consistent trend in these revelations.

As depicted in the story, March 7th was discovered by the Astral Express while traversing space, encased in a block of mystical ice. The Trailblazers from the Astral Express rescued her, and she has since been an integral part of their group.

The companion quest titled ‘Total Recall‘ aimed to uncover March 7th’s past, facilitated by Fu Xuan. However, progress halted when the Messenger of the Forgotten Hall cautioned against delving into her past, citing potential emotional anguish. The forthcoming Penacony arc is anticipated to unveil more about March 7th’s history, with rumors hinting at Black Swan playing a significant role in this revelation.
