Simulated Universe is one of the most beloved end-game features in Honkai Star Rail, with developers consistently adding new content. The upcoming version 2.3 will include one of the biggest updates in the game’s history, completely overhauling core systems. The latest episode of Developer Radio revealed a wealth of information about these upcoming changes, so let’s take a closer look.
In HSR 2.3, the Simulated Universe will undergo a massive transformation called the Divergent Universe update. This update will revamp normal gameplay, introducing more varied Blessings and Curios combinations with unique effects. However, the current Simulated Universe will remain intact, allowing players to continue enjoying the existing content.
The primary aim of the Divergent Universe update is to simplify farming Planar Ornaments through several new features. Here’s everything being added to the Divergent Universe:
- Curios and Blessing Save File: After clearing the Divergent Universe, players can save the Curios and Blessings obtained during that run into a save file. This save file resets each week.
- Planar Ornament Quick Claim Function: Once the Divergent Universe is cleared, players can directly challenge the bosses using the saved Curios and Blessings file to obtain the corresponding Planar Ornaments.
- Restart Challenge: The Divergent Universe will feature a Restart Challenge option, allowing players to restart the current battle with the previously triggered Techniques before entering the battle.
The Divergent Universe will also provide unique rewards, such as various leveling materials and Stellar Jades. Clearing the Divergent Universe will grant players weekly Simulated Universe points. The developers have indicated that future Simulated Universe updates post-version 2.3 will focus on enhancing the Divergent Universe.
Additionally, the Developer Radio episode unveiled a new permanent game mode called Apocalyptic Shadow, which will run alongside Memory of Chaos and Pure Fiction. Honkai Star Rail players are thrilled with the influx of new content in each version. Share your thoughts about these updates in the comment section below.
