Game awards ceremonies honoring developers and creators have long been a tradition, with organizations like BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) recognizing the gaming industry through their annual awards show. As the 20th BAFTA Games Awards approaches, they have revealed the nominees, celebrating games released in 2023 across various categories. The winners will be announced on Thursday, April 11th. Baldur’s Gate 3 Dominates the Nominees
Baldur’s Gate 3, following its sweeping victories at The Game Awards and Steam Awards, leads the pack with 10 nominations at the BAFTA awards. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (review) closely follows with nine nominations, while Alan Wake 2 (review) trails with eight nominations.
