In 2024, smart rings gained significant traction, with devices like the Oura Ring and the Galaxy Ring leading the charge. However, you might not be familiar with the Circular Ring, as its first generation struggled to make an impact. Now, the company aims to change that narrative with its next iteration: the Circular Ring 2.
Unveiled at CES 2025, the Circular Ring 2 brings a range of features designed to compete with the Oura Ring and Galaxy Ring. However, it sets itself apart with an innovative digital sizing feature, allowing users to scan their fingers using their phone’s camera for a perfect fit.
Based on the algorithm’s analysis of the scanned images, Circular will ship a perfectly sized ring tailored to the user. This approach not only minimizes packaging waste but also speeds up delivery, ensuring a faster and more efficient experience.

Circular claims the Ring 2 addresses two major issues from its predecessor: build quality and health tracking. Now crafted from titanium, the Ring 2 boasts a more durable design. It also features “enhanced sensors” that add advanced health metrics like ECG and FDA-certified Atrial Fibrillation detection.
The Ring 2 also tackles connectivity challenges and enhances the overall user experience. Its battery life has been extended to 8 days, up from 5 days in the first generation. Additionally, the new lineup offers more color options, including Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, and Black.
The Circular Ring 2 is priced at $380, marking a significant increase from its predecessor. However, like the first generation, it is expected to include a free app with no subscription fees, which adds value for users. Overall, the Circular Ring 2 is shaping up to be a compelling competitor to the Galaxy Ring and Oura Ring. The device is set to launch in March 2025.
