At CES 2025, Samsung unveiled a range of Vision AI features for its smart TVs, including Live Translate, Circle to Search, Generative Wallpaper, Home Insights, and Pet and Family Care. These features will be available on Samsung’s OLED, QLED, Neo QLED, and The Frame models.
The AI-powered Live Translate provides real-time translated subtitles in your native language, showcasing a practical application of AI in TVs.
Vision AI also introduces Google’s Circle to Search, allowing users to find information about anything displayed on the screen. For instance, while watching a movie, you can quickly look up an actor’s name.
Generative Wallpapers enables users to create personalized wallpapers using AI. Additionally, Home Insights and Pet and Family Care turn your Samsung TV into a comprehensive home monitoring hub, offering security alerts, pet tracking, and light management.
Samsung claims that Vision AI will enhance video and audio quality on compatible smart TVs by using AI technology. The new AI mode can upscale content in real-time, improve HDR, provide clearer sound, and perform advanced image processing for each frame.
