Binance Wallet has announced its eighth exclusive token generation event (TGE) featuring the omnichain liquidity protocol StakeStone.
According to Binance Wallet’s announcement on April 3, the event will occur from 08:00 AM to 08:30 AM UTC. Users can subscribe during this period to receive StakeStone tokens, with 10 million STO tokens allocated for marketing; further details will be provided later.
StakeStone aims to address the liquidity fragmentation issue in decentralized finance, where liquidity is dispersed across various blockchains, making asset transfers difficult and costly. By functioning as an omnichain system, StakeStone facilitates efficient liquidity flow between blockchains, benefiting both users and protocols.
The platform primarily uses two tokens: STO (StakeStone Token) and veSTO (voting-escrowed STO). STO is an Omnichain Fungible Token built on LayerZero technology, allowing seamless transfers across different blockchains without burning and re-minting, thus enhancing its utility in multi-chain ecosystems. STO serves as the primary governance token for the StakeStone ecosystem.
veSTO, a derivative token obtained by locking STO for a specific period, rewards long-term commitment and amplifies governance influence. Holding veSTO enhances staking rewards and liquidity provision yields.
To participate in the TGE, users must set up and fund their Keyless Binance Wallet. After signing into their Binance account, they can access the Exclusive TGE Subscription Page. Once there, users can subscribe by connecting their wallet and depositing Binance Coin (BNB). They will see their subscribed STO token amount once the transaction is confirmed.
Binance Wallet’s Exclusive TGEs, including StakeStone, feature promising and high-quality projects. Previous participants include Bedrock, Bubblemaps, MyShell, and Particle Network. Users are advised to conduct their research before participating in any TGE.
