Larian Studios’ role-playing game Baldur’s Gate 3 clinched the coveted Game of the Year (GOTY) trophy at the Game Awards 2023, following a fierce competition among some of the year’s most outstanding games. Among its several nominations, Baldur’s Gate 3 secured victories in five categories before ultimately claiming the top honor of the night.
Before revealing the winner, viewers were treated to the Game Awards’ GOTY musical, which seamlessly blended title songs from each of the nominees in the category. The medley proved to be an irresistible highlight, leaving audiences thoroughly entertained.
