Smartphone enthusiasts were taken aback by rumors of ASUS discontinuing its Zenfone lineup. ASUS quickly clarified that the rumors were false. Now, leaked images of the upcoming Zenfone flagship, the Zenfone 11 Ultra, have surfaced, revealing a larger version of the regular Zenfone 11. Reddit user Td3v1l shared these leaked images and renders, providing a glimpse into the device’s design and leaked specifications.
Recently, a few images of the Zenfone 11 Ultra and its retail packaging were leaked, showcasing an intriguing design. The back of the device resembles the aesthetic of the recently released ROG Phone 8 Pro, albeit with a more subdued look.
The square camera module houses three cameras and an LED flash. Notably, there are lines on the back that form a pattern resembling the letter “A” when rotated 90 degrees to the right, a design element reminiscent of ASUS laptops like the Zenbooks.
ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra Leaked Specs
The leaked specifications of the Zenfone 11 Ultra suggest that ASUS is aiming for a flagship experience. The device is rumored to feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED LTPO display manufactured by Samsung.
In terms of cameras, the main sensor could be a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with ASUS’ Gimbal OIS, similar to the one found in the OnePlus 12R and Realme 12 Pro. The secondary camera may be a 13MP ultra-wide sensor with a 120-degree field of view, while the third camera could be a 32MP telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom and OIS.
The ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra is rumored to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, offering up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage and up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM. The phone is expected to feature a 5,500 mAh battery with 65W wired charging and 15W wireless charging capabilities.
Additionally, ASUS is likely to retain some popular features from the Zenfone 10, such as the 3.5mm headphone jack and Dual Stereo speakers. The Zenfone 11 Ultra could be available in five colors: Eternal Black, Skyline Blue, Verdure Green, Misty Gray and Desert Sienna.
