As expected, Apple has officially announced the dates for WWDC 2025! The Worldwide Developers Conference will take place from June 9 to June 13, 2025.
Like previous years, Apple will kick off the event with an in-person keynote on June 9, which will also be streamed live on Apple’s events website and YouTube. This means you can stay updated on the latest software and possibly hardware announcements from wherever you are.
According to Apple’s newsroom post, “Apple will also host an in-person experience on June 9 that will provide developers with the opportunity to watch the Keynote and Platforms State of the Union at Apple Park, meet with Apple experts one-on-one and in group labs, and take part in special activities.“
WWDC 2025: Expected Software Updates
What to Expect from WWDC 2025? As always, Apple will use WWDC 2025 to showcase the latest advancements in its software ecosystem. Expect the unveiling of iOS 19, iPadOS 19, watchOS 12, and the successor to macOS 15 Sequoia. Additionally, Apple will likely introduce upgrades to tvOS and visionOS, catering to the select group of Vision Pro users.
Recent rumors indicate that iOS 19 could bring one of the most significant redesigns in Apple’s history. Reports suggest it will be the “most dramatic overhaul” since iOS 7, making it a highly anticipated update. The redesign is expected to introduce a visionOS-inspired “glassification” of the interface, featuring revamped icons, menus, apps, and more for a fresh and modern look.
Alongside iOS 19, one of the most anticipated reveals at WWDC 2025 is Apple’s renewed AI strategy. Will Apple Intelligence finally take the leap it desperately needs, or will it be another round of overpromised yet underwhelming updates, like the so-called enhanced Siri? We’ll find out on June 9, 2025. Be sure to tune in, as AzMo Tech will be covering all the major announcements from WWDC 2025 in real time.
In the meantime, let us know your expectations for iOS 19 and Apple Intelligence in the comments!
