Aventurine Ascension and Trace Material Farming Tips

Many of Aventurine’s materials are obtainable in Penacony. Some are already available, while others will be released in the upcoming HSR 2.1 version. Here’s how you can pre-farm Aventurine’s ascension and trace materials.

Fragments of Impression, Tatters of Thought, and Shards of Desires Location

Tatters of Thought is an easily attainable material in Honkai Star Rail. You can obtain this item by defeating enemies and clearing Calyx (Golden) in Penacony. Moreover, you can acquire these materials through assignments, which is the most straightforward and hassle-free method to gather them gradually.

Calyx (Crimson) Materials: Crystal Meteorites, Scattered Stardust, and Divine Amber

Calyx Crimson is currently not available in the game and will only be accessible in the 2.1 version. It’s advisable to focus on farming the other materials first and then wait to farm Calyx Crimson upon its release date.

Stagnant of Shadow Material: Suppressing Edict

Suppressing Edict is used for ascending Imaginary damage-type characters. You can acquire it by defeating the Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Puppetry, found in the Artisanship Commission on Xianzhou Luofu. The enemy is vulnerable to Quantum, Wind, and Lightning, although it transitions into a phase where it is immune to all elemental weaknesses.

Echo of War Material: Past Evils of the Borehole Planet

Past Evils of the Borehole Planet are attainable by completing the Echo of War: Borehole Planet’s Old Crater, situated in the F1 of Seclusion Zone on Herta Space Station. Echo of War can only be farmed three times a week, so be sure to collect all 12 materials before attempting another run.

The enemy is vulnerable to Imaginary, Ice, and Physical damage types. It also spawns multiple Swarm beetles, so prioritize defeating the small swarm enemies first, as they inflict splash damage upon defeat.
