Honkai Star Rail 3.2 is packed with powerful new and returning 5-star characters. This update’s banners will feature six 5-stars two of them brand new with unique abilities that are hard to ignore. The rerun characters are also top-tier, including some of the best DPS and Support units in the game. With so many strong options, it’s easy to feel unsure about who to pull for in Honkai Star Rail 3.2. Should you go for Anaxa or Castorice? Don’t worry this guide will break down the pull priority to help you decide.
6. Dr. Ratio – Skip

Dr. Ratio ranks lowest in the pull priority for the Honkai Star Rail 3.2 banners. He’s an Imaginary single-target DPS capable of dealing decent Follow-up attack damage. However, his performance has declined significantly since his initial release as a free 5-star character. He no longer stands among the top DPS units in the game, and using your limited Stellar Jades on him would be a major waste, in my opinion. The only valid reason to pull for Dr. Ratio is if you’re a fan of his personality and missed out on getting him for free earlier.
5. Jiaoqiu – Acheron Enabler
Jiaoqiu is a solid Nihility Debuffer who performs well in Pure Fiction content. He can apply AoE debuffs at the start of battle without using a Skill point and can moderately reduce enemy defenses. However, his synergy with most DPS characters is limited. Jiaoqiu truly shines as an Acheron support, significantly boosting her damage output and helping her recharge her Ultimate more frequently. With the current meta shift, he’s becoming an essential pick for Acheron-focused teams. You should consider pulling Jiaoqiu in Honkai Star Rail 3.2 only if you already have a fully built Acheron in your roster.
4. Anaxa – Erudition Support and Applies Weaknesses
Anaxa is one of the new 5-star characters introduced in Honkai Star Rail 3.2, and he brings a unique ability that sets him apart. His Ultimate allows him to apply all weaknesses in the game to all enemies, which can be incredibly powerful in specific scenarios. He’s a major upgrade over Silver Wolf so much so that HoYoverse is planning to buff Silver Wolf in HSR 3.4. Anaxa also functions as an Erudition support, significantly boosting the damage output of The Herta and Argenti teams. Overall, Anaxa is a solid pull option in Honkai Star Rail 3.2.
3. Fugue – Extremely Strong Break Support
Fugue is one of the strongest Break Supports in Honkai Star Rail. If you’re running a Break Team or planning to build one, Fugue is an absolute must-pull. Alongside Ruan Mei, she keeps Break teams relevant in the current meta. Beyond that, Fugue also serves as a reliable support for many other teams, easily reducing enemy defenses while enabling the team to deal double Break Damage.
If you enjoy using characters like Firefly, Boothill, or Rappa, then pulling for Fugue in the Honkai Star Rail 3.2 banners is highly recommended. With so many strong units featured, your Stellar Jade reserves might already be running low. Don’t forget to check out Honkai Star Rail codes to top up your Jade before HSR 3.2 goes live.
2. Acheron — SS-Tier DPS
Acheron is widely regarded as the strongest DPS in Honkai Star Rail, though that title may be challenged soon with the release of Castorice. As an Emanator of Nihility, she lives up to her role by wiping out enemies effortlessly with her Ultimate. Acheron is also one of the easiest characters to use in the game and still has plenty of viability moving forward. If you’re looking for a powerful DPS to help you clear MoC content, Acheron is a top-tier choice.
That said, Acheron performs best with strong Nihility supports. If your roster lacks them, consider pulling for Jiaoqiu after securing Acheron, and pair her with 4-star supports like Pela or Guinaifen to maximize her potential.
1. Castorice – Absolute Must-Pull
Castorice is an absolute must-pull in Honkai Star Rail, even if you don’t plan to actively build her. She’s the first character to introduce a global passive ability, which allows her to revive teammates even when she’s not part of the active team. With Castorice in your roster, every team essentially gains a free get-out-of-jail card. Once you have her in Honkai Star Rail 3.2, your characters are far less likely to fall in battle—as long as you have a solid healer or shielder to protect or recover them after her passive is activated.
But that’s not all Castorice is also expected to become the strongest DPS character in the game after her release. She can serve both as a powerful DPS and a sustain option for teams. Once fully built, Castorice can obliterate enemies using her memosprite, “Netherwing.”
