Honkai Star Rail Character Tier List: Best Characters in 2024

Navigating the multitude of characters in Honkai Star Rail can be daunting for new players, given the significance of team compositions and individual roles in combat. To aid newcomers, we’ve meticulously crafted a comprehensive tier list of characters in Honkai Star Rail after careful analysis.

Note: Characters within each tier are not ranked in any specific order. Their placement considers their performance across early, mid, and late-game stages. Additionally, this tier list is subjective and based on personal analysis. Ultimately, the key is to play characters that resonate with your playstyle while ensuring an enjoyable gaming experience.

Honkai Star Rail Best SS-Tier Characters

In Honkai Star Rail, the SS tier characters represent the pinnacle in their respective playstyles and positions. Each team role DPS, Support, and Sustain features only two of the most exceptional characters selected for this tier. These individuals stand as the definitive “Must Pulls,” offering unparalleled value that enables players to effortlessly conquer even the most formidable game content.

Jingliu

Jingliu stands as the foremost DPS character in Honkai Star Rail, closely followed by Dan Heng Inbibitor Lunae. Her prowess as a hyper carry lies in her ability to unleash astounding Ice Blast damage through her Skill and Ultimate. Jingliu’s kit facilitates a remarkable feat, she can consistently execute three consecutive damage turns: activating her skill to enter the Transmigration State, utilizing her Enhanced Skill, and culminating with her Ultimate.

Upon entering the Transmigration state, Jingliu becomes a force to be reckoned with, dealing substantial damage with her enhanced skill. This state grants her a 50% Crit Rate buff, allowing her to unleash staggering Crit Damage, especially when equipped with the appropriate Relics. Beyond her high damage output, her skill-focused gameplay style elevates her above Dan Heng Inbibitor Lunae.

Dan Heng Inbibitor Lunae

Similar to Jingliu, Dan Heng Inbibitor Lunae, also known as Dan Heng IL, boasts an incredible damage-dealing capacity. His skill doesn’t directly inflict damage; instead, it enhances his basic attacks significantly. Notably, using his Skill doesn’t conclude his turn and can be consecutively activated three times. The impact of his Enhanced Basic Attack alters based on the number of Skills employed, culminating in a powerful 7-hit Blast attack on the third Skill activation. Additionally, with each hit, Dan Heng IL’s Talent further augments his Attack and overall damage potential.

Regarded as an exceptional hyper carry, Dan Heng IL excels in allowing players to effortlessly overcome challenges like MoC and Swarm Disaster. However, his drawback lies in being considerably Skill Point negative, a factor that positions Jingliu as the superior DPS option. Pairing Dan Heng IL with a character like Hanya can mitigate this skill point deficit, enabling consistent utilization of his maximized Enhanced attack.

Bronya

In Honkai Star Rail, Bronya stands out as an absolute essential character—a must-have for any team due to the tremendous value she brings. Her Skill and Ultimate deliver exceptional damage and a substantial Crit rate buff to the primary DPS. What sets Bronya apart is her Skill, granting a 100% action forward to an ally, enabling the main DPS to take action twice within a cycle, albeit with an amplified attack buff the second time.

Among the outstanding Harmony characters in the game, Bronya reigns supreme. Her ability to buff damage makes her compatible with virtually any DPS, including unconventional choices like Blade, who scales based on HP rather than Attack. If you haven’t acquired her yet, prioritize selecting Bronya at the 300 pulls in the Stellar Wrap, as she stands as the premier Harmony character in Honkai Star Rail.

Silver Wolf

Silver Wolf in Honkai Star Rail functions akin to an in-game cheat code, revolutionizing the game’s mechanics. The game’s mechanics heavily hinge on exploiting weaknesses in combat, nudging players to acquire various characters. However, Silver Wolf nullifies the need for DPS of the same weakness type by applying weaknesses to enemies through her Skill. With her presence, any DPS team becomes viable for all in-game content, irrespective of enemy weaknesses.

Beyond her ability to induce weaknesses, Silver Wolf’s Skill and Ultimate possess formidable debuffing capabilities, lowering enemy defenses and All Type Resistance. Notably, she stands as the sole character capable of debuffing enemies with her Basic attack, a consequence of her Talent. This skill point positivity renders her an invaluable asset to any team, cementing her status as a powerful debuffer and a game-changing addition.

Huohuo

Huohuo, a recent addition to Honkai Star Rail, brings an incredibly versatile healing kit to the game. Initially met with skepticism due to the absence of reactive heals, she swiftly emerged as the game’s premier Healer. Her potent Blast Heal activates her Talent for two turns, enabling a cycle between her Skill and Basic abilities, resulting in skill point neutrality. Huohuo’s talent serves as an ongoing source of cleanse and heal, ensuring the cleansing of every character at the beginning of their turn, accompanied by additional health restoration, preventing any delayed actions.

Furthermore, her talent triggers healing for the ally with the lowest HP% when any ally uses their Ultimate, effectively acting as a reactive heal during emergencies. This, coupled with her Eidolon 2, enabling her to revive knocked allies twice per battle, positions her as a blend of Luocha and Bailu. Beyond healing, her Ultimate not only replenishes energy but also buffs the Attack of allies. Pairing her with Tingyun can significantly hasten the Ultimate recharge for your main DPS and the entire team.

Fu Xuan

Fu Xuan stands out as one of the most formidable Sustains in Honkai Star Rail, showcasing a unique kit centered not on healing or shielding but on damage mitigation. Her Skill entails receiving 65% of the damage taken by her allies for three turns, concurrently bolstering the Max HP of her allies by a fraction of her own Max HP. Additionally, it augments the Crit Rate of all allies, making it a potent offensive and defensive asset.

The linchpin of her viability lies in her Talent, wherein she significantly reduces damage taken by all allies and reactively restores her HP when she reaches or drops below 50% of her Max HP. Fu Xuan’s exceptional capabilities allow her to sustain through the game’s most challenging content solo, eliminating the necessity for healing or shielding. Moreover, her Quantum weakness type proves advantageous for clearing Swarm Disasters.

Honkai Star Rail Best S-Tier Characters

The S tier characters in Honkai Star Rail represent formidable contenders who, despite not securing the top two spots in their respective team positions, exude exceptional strength and contribute significantly to any team. Acquiring any of these characters elevates your team’s capability to effortlessly conquer the game’s most challenging content.

Seele

Seele was hailed as the paramount DPS character in Honkai Star Rail until the advent of Dan Heng Inbibitor Lunae and Jingliu. However, she remains among the top-tier, if not the pinnacle, single-target damage dealers in the game, benefiting from Quantum damage that facilitates breezing through Swarm Disaster.

Despite her designation as a single-target character, Seele’s Talent affords her an extra turn upon defeating an enemy, further enhancing her attack. Leveraging her exceptional single-target damage and speed, she delivers immense multi-target damage output each turn cycle. By incorporating the Imperishable Victory Hunt Blessing from the Simulated Universe, she can even vanquish entire groups of enemies within a single turn cycle.

Argenti

Argenti emerges as a new character in Honkai Star Rail, presenting one of the most intricate tiers to decipher. His Ultimate ability manifests in two layers: the initial charge at 90 energy and a more potent charge at 180. The 90-charge Ultimate boasts significant AoE damage, while the 180-charge Ultimate unleashes six additional attacks against a single enemy after inflicting robust AoE damage. This configuration allows Argenti to deliver staggering damage, particularly against single elite enemies where randomness ceases to be a factor, transforming him into a devastating force.

Complementing his Ultimates, Argenti’s Talent plays a pivotal role in his performance. It not only replenishes his energy by 3 for every enemy struck but also ramps up his Crit Rate by up to 28% at full stacks. This synergy enables continuous Ultimate recharge and a consistent onslaught of critical hits, facilitating immense single-target damage. Furthermore, his Skill contributes to his prowess by delivering AoE damage, establishing him as a formidable AoE damage dealer with an exceptionally potent single-target nuke. These attributes position Argenti in the S-tier of our Honkai Star Rail character tier list.

Tingyun

Tingyun stands as one of the most potent buffers in Honkai Star Rail, offering an excellent choice for Hypercarry teams and serving as a compelling alternative to Bronya. Her Skill amplifies an ally’s attack by 55%, reaching up to 27% of Tingyun’s attack, for a duration of 3 turns, simultaneously inflicting additional lightning damage equal to 44% of their Attack. Notably, this skill harmonizes well with most DPS characters in the game, as many of them scale based on Attack.

In addition to her Skill, Tingyun’s Ultimate further enhances an ally’s Damage output by 56% while regenerating 50 energy. Strategic use of her Ultimate ensures swift energy recharge for the main DPS, resulting in significantly increased damage output. Moreover, she exhibits high skill point efficiency owing to the extended duration of her Skill. Being a 4-star character, acquiring Tingyun and even elevating her to E6 is comparatively more achievable, making her a valuable addition to teams.

Pela

Pela emerges as another outstanding 4-star Harmony character, securing her place as one of the most potent S-tier characters in Honkai Star Rail. Her prowess centers primarily on her Ultimate, a devastating AoE attack that guarantees a 40% reduction in all enemy defenses. This reduction translates to a substantial damage boost for your main DPS units. Complementing this, her skill excels in stripping enemy buffs (except those immune to removal), effectively thwarting adversaries from executing formidable enhanced attacks. Notably, her proficiency extends to being skill point efficient, further enhancing her overall effectiveness in combat.

Luocha

Luocha emerges as one of the premier healers in Honkai Star Rail, wielding formidable reactive healing abilities that compensate for the absence of a multi-target heal. His Skill performs a potent single-target heal while incorporating a reactive healing function. Activated automatically when an ally’s HP falls to 50% or below, this Skill swiftly mends the character. Notably, this reactive heal can trigger once every 2 turns.

Additionally, Luocha’s Ultimate possesses the capability to strip buffs from enemies while granting 1 stack of Abyss Flower. Upon accumulating 2 stacks of Abyss Flower, Luocha triggers a field effect. Within this field, any ally attacking enemies triggers automatic HP restoration based on Luocha’s attack. Luocha’s reliable healing prowess makes him an invaluable asset to your team, particularly in situations where reactive healing can rescue your characters from adverse enemy damage.

Clara

Clara emerges as a formidable DPS unit with considerable Sustain attributes owing to her remarkable damage reduction and ability to draw enemy aggro. Her expertise lies in diverting enemy attention towards herself while executing powerful Follow-up blast attacks. For novice players, grasping her counter-attacking play style might pose a challenge initially, but once optimized, she transforms into a hyper carry capable of navigating through the game’s most challenging content.

Honkai Star Rail Best A-Tier Characters

The A-tier characters in Honkai Star Rail showcase considerable strength but fall slightly below the overwhelming prowess of the SS and S-tier counterparts. They serve exceptionally well as alternatives for diverse play styles. However, overlooking their potential would be a mistake, as with proper optimization, they can adeptly conquer the most challenging segments of Honkai Star Rail.

Blade

Blade stands as a robust DPS unit whose potential would secure a place in the S-tier of our HSR character tier list if not for his heavy reliance on a proficient healer within the team. Blade’s damage output is intricately linked to his Max HP and the amount of HP lost during combat. His Skill effectively converts his HP into formidable damage. Consequently, a robust healer within the team is crucial for Blade to function optimally.

However, once Blade finds synergy with a competent healer and accumulates enough HP through his Relics, he becomes a force to be reckoned with, capable of dismantling enemy health bars before depleting his own. A remarkably potent character, making him a worthwhile addition to your roster.

Jing Yuan

Jing Yuan emerges as a follow-up oriented DPS character in Honkai Star Rail, renowned for his primary asset, the Talent that summons the Lightning Lord right at the onset of battle. The Lightning Lord boasts its turn and executes up to 10 hits of Bounce lightning damage, constituting a Follow-up attack at maximum stack. Additionally, both his Skill and Ultimate deliver significant AoE damage, establishing him as a formidable unit proficient in clearing multiple targets and exploiting Lightning weakness in enemies.

Kafka

Kafka stands as the premier DoT character in Honkai Star Rail, an essential addition for those aiming to construct a robust DoT-oriented team. Her Skill showcases substantial Lightning blast damage while instantly activating every Damage over Time effect afflicting an enemy. Additionally, her capability for Follow-up attacks inflicts the Shock effect. Strategic pairing with a proficient DoT applier empowers her to unleash colossal DoT damage upon any enemy. Renowned as one of the game’s strongest characters, Kafka enjoys widespread acclaim for her distinctive style and significant role in the storyline.

Asta

Asta reigns as the top free character in Honkai Star Rail, serving as an exceptional support character requiring minimal investment. Her Ultimate, when maxed, significantly boosts the speed of all allies by 52, dramatically altering the attack order and aiding characters in reaching critical speed breakpoints and relic thresholds.

With a Bounce attack hitting random enemies, Asta’s Skill contributes to her versatility. Moreover, her Talent amplifies allies’ Attack by 15% per stack, correlating with the number of targets Asta strikes with her Skill or Basic attack (with a maximum of 5 stacks). Given her minimal investment requirement, focusing on her Talent and Ultimate makes her a valuable asset right from the game’s onset, especially considering she is readily available for free at the beginning of the game.

Qingque

Qingque stands out as the premier free DPS character in Honkai Star Rail, capable of ascending to one of the game’s strongest DPS characters upon unlocking her Eidolon 4. Her gameplay revolves around a gamble, relying on utilizing her Skills to amass 4 stacks of identical Jade tiles to execute her enhanced Basic Attack for a single turn.

With each Skill usage, her attack escalates by 30% (maxing out at 4 stacks), culminating in delivering the boosted attack after her 4th Skill employment. However, the challenge lies in obtaining the 4 stacks of Jade tiles—sometimes achieved before, occasionally not at all—resulting in highly variable damage output each turn. Her true potential shines after unlocking her E4, allowing her to execute a Follow-up attack following her Basic attack, effectively doubling the already substantial damage. She offers an enjoyable gameplay experience, albeit potentially frustrating when luck isn’t in your favor.

Geopard

Geopard proves to be a formidable Sustain character, offering robust shields through his Ultimate that extend to all allies. His support can guide your team to triumph without enduring any damage. Additionally, his Skill possesses a favorable probability of Freezing a lone enemy while inflicting Ice damage. Furthermore, Geopard boasts the ability to self-revive using his Talent, solidifying his position as a resilient Tank. Partnering him with characters like Clara facilitates effortlessly overcoming many of the game’s toughest challenges.

Topaz

Topaz emerges as a robust character revitalizing the prominence of Follow-up attack-focused units. Her strategy hinges on leveraging Numby to unleash potent Single Target and Blast damage via Follow-up attacks. Moreover, she amplifies all Follow-up attack damage, making her an ideal pairing with characters like Himeko, Jing Yuan, or Clara, amplifying their capabilities. While she’s capable of being a primary DPS in various teams, her strength predominantly lies in supporting other Follow-up attack-oriented characters.

Lynx

Lynx, a 4* Abundance character, stands as one of the premier healers in Honkai Star Rail. Her Skill provides a potent single-target heal, elevating the target’s Max HP alongside granting aggro when healing Path of Destruction or Preservation characters. This quality makes her an ideal companion for Blade or Clara. Lynx’s Ultimate, a team-wide heal, also cleanses targets of 1 debuff. In late-game scenarios, the cleansing ability becomes pivotal, securing her place as a favorable choice over characters like Natasha or Bailu.

Hanya

Hanya, a recent addition to HSR, addresses Skill Point concerns for characters like Dan Heng Inbibitor Lunae and Qingque. Her Skill marks a single enemy, allowing any attack on that enemy to generate Skill points, up to a maximum of 2. Additionally, allies attacking the marked enemy with the Burden status deal 33% more damage.

Beyond her Skill-generating role, her Ultimate grants a substantial Speed and Attack buff to a single target for 2 turns. Overall, she stands as a robust Harmony unit, significantly aiding teams reliant on high Skill Point economy for smooth cycling.

Honkai Star Rail Best B-Tier Characters

The B-tier characters in Honkai Star Rail are moderately competent or slightly above average. While they are sufficient to complete all story missions, for more demanding end-game challenges like MoC and Simulated Universe, it’s advisable to aim for characters ranked A-tier or higher.

Bailu

Bailu stands out as a potent healer, especially as an Eidolon 0 character who possesses the ability to revive fallen characters. Her Skill provides a bounce heal, prioritizing the main target before extending to two random allies. However, her Ultimate steals the spotlight, offering a valuable team-wide heal that grants Invigoration to all allies for a turn. This Invigoration effect allows automatic healing for allies when struck by enemies, enhancing the team’s resilience.

Yet, Bailu’s kit lacks a cleansing ability, a critical feature in the late stages of Honkai Star Rail. This absence can significantly intensify challenges, making them considerably more difficult.

Welt

Welt used to be a standout character I thoroughly enjoyed playing. However, with the introduction of superior support characters, Welt has somewhat faded into the background. His unique kit involves inflicting Slow on enemies through his Skill, causing delays in their turns. Additionally, his Ultimate has the ability to imprison enemies, effectively causing them to skip turns. When properly built, Welt can immobilize enemies, preventing them from taking any actions—a rather enjoyable and strategic approach to gameplay.

Himeko

Himeko, a beloved character in the Honkai universe, falls short of expectations in Honkai Star Rail. As a DPS character, her overall damage output is notably lacking, except for her AoE fire-based Follow-up attack, which holds some significant power.

However, activating her Follow-up attack demands breaking weaknesses in three enemies, a task that grows increasingly challenging in the late stages of the game. Despite this, she remains valuable for early-game content and might see a resurgence with the anticipated arrival of the new Pure Fiction mode in the Honkai Star Rail 1.6 update.

March 7th

March 7th marks the introduction of the first free character in Honkai Star Rail. She performs adequately as a sustain, supporting players in clearing most content until they acquire Fire Trailblazer or a superior sustain character. Her Skill grants a shield to a single ally, triggering a Follow-up attack when that ally is attacked. Additionally, her Ultimate deals AoE damage with a minor chance to freeze all enemies. Overall, she possesses a suitable kit for early-game endeavors and remains a handy shield provider for late-game challenges if needed.

Yukong

Yukong stands as a robust Harmony character, blending the roles of Sub DPS and Support seamlessly. Her Skill outshines other Harmony characters by granting a remarkable 88% Attack buff to all allies, elevating their potential significantly. Yukong’s Ultimate adds further value by boosting Crit Rate by 30% and Crit Damage by 70% for all allies, alongside dealing an impressive 410% of Yukong’s attack as Imaginary damage to a single target.

However, her limitation lies in maintaining consistent buff uptime. In our Honkai Star Rail character tier list, she resides in the B-tier due to the two-turn duration of her allies’ buffs, rather than her own. This necessitates precise team compositions, ensuring the main DPS follows Yukong’s actions closely. When properly built and managed, she provides substantial damage buffs to the team while contributing decently to overall damage output.

Guinafen

Guinafen proves to be a potent DoT character capable of dealing considerable damage while concurrently reducing enemy defenses if optimized. Her Skill inflicts a 2-turn burn on enemies, where subsequent DoT damage to these burned foes weakens their defense by 7% (stackable up to 3 times). Additionally, her Ultimate delivers AoE fire damage, triggering all applied Burn DoTs on the enemy. She synergizes effectively with other Fire characters such as Asta and Himeko, as well as DoT-centric characters like Kafka. Overall, she stands as a valuable addition to team compositions in Honkai Star Rail.

Fire Trailblazer

The Fire Trailblazer is a robust sustain character with considerable damage potential. Their kit centers on the Talent, accumulating Magma Will stacks upon receiving hits or using the Skill (up to 8 stacks). Upon reaching 4 or more stacks, their basic attacks transition to enhanced blasts, dealing AoE damage instead of single-target hits.

A pivotal aspect lies in the Trailblazer’s ability to provide small shields to allies when executing their Basic Attack, Skill, or Ultimate. Moreover, using the Skill reduces incoming damage by 40% for the Trailblazer and guarantees taunting enemies for 1 turn, diverting their attention. The Ultimate further contributes significant AoE damage, setting up the next basic attack for automatic enhancement. While offering many beneficial aspects, the Fire Trailblazer falls short of solo sustaining a team, resulting in their placement in the B-tier.

Honkai Star Rail Best C-Tier Characters

The C-tier characters in Honkai Star Rail are those who exhibit relatively lower strength compared to others. They may perform decently in early-game content or under specific circumstances. However, for challenging encounters or when assembling a primary team, these characters are often overlooked and left out.

Natasha

Natasha serves as an excellent healer for early-game progression. Acquirable at the outset, she’s often the initial healer players obtain. Her Skill provides sustained healing to a single ally, extending the healing effect for two turns. Natasha’s Ultimate offers a substantial heal to all allies, particularly effective in early boss encounters. Yet, her absence of cleanse renders her impractical for end-game challenges.

Luka

Luka serves as a potent DoT inflictor and can also weaken enemy defenses by inducing vulnerability. He shines in teams centered around DoT strategies or as a secondary DPS. When paired with Kafka-led teams, Luka significantly amplifies DoT damage. However, outside of DoT-focused compositions, other DPS characters may prove more effective.

Serval

Serval was a tough placement in the C tier, considering she could potentially reach B tier or higher with her Eidolon 6. Unlike most DoT characters in the Nihility path, Serval hails from the Erudition path. She consistently deals damage over turns, with her effectiveness growing gradually. Her strategy involves inducing Shock on enemies, activating her talent for additional damage against shocked foes.

Unlocking her E6 enables consistent application of Shock on enemies and significantly boosts damage against them. At E6, Serval can tackle most game content capably, but at E0, she falls short of meeting the criteria for placement in the B-tier or higher within the Honkai Star Rail character rankings.

Yanqing

Yanqing stands as the lone 5* character in the lower C tiers (excluding Trailblazer) mainly due to his distinct playstyle. When it comes to dealing damage, Yanqing excels thanks to his self-buffing capabilities. His Skill triggers a solid single-target ice damage and activates the Soulsteel sync for a turn.

Under this effect, Yanqing receives a boost to his Crit Rate by 21% and Crit Damage by 33%. Additionally, it grants a 60% chance of executing Follow-up attacks after striking enemies. His Ultimate further amps up his Crit Rate by 60% and elevates Crit Damage by 54% upon Soulsteel Sync activation, dealing substantial single-target damage.

Yet, the primary drawback lies in losing the Soulsteel Sync effect upon taking damage. To optimize Yanqing’s potential, a reliable shield applier is necessary. While undeniably potent, other DPS units offer a more straightforward approach to gameplay.

Dan Heng

Dan Heng, the second free character provided right at the game’s outset, starts as a somewhat subdued version of himself. Nevertheless, he evolves into a formidable force at Eidolons 6. Even at E0, he serves as a reliable carry for early-game challenges, boasting robust single-target damage alongside a chance to Slow enemies. His talent affords him a 37% Wind Resistance Penetration upon receiving a targeted Skill, such as Tingyun’s Skill or Asta’s Ultimate.

With his Technique, Dan Heng secures a 40% Attack increase for 3 turns. However, it’s at E6 that he truly ascends. After vanquishing an enemy with his Ultimate, he gains an additional action and augments his chance to Slow enemies. Dan Heng proves a valuable asset for conquering early-game trials and, with substantial investment, can stand tall as a late-game powerhouse, especially if your lineup lacks a strong single-target DPS carry.

Herta

Herta stands out as one of the most accessible characters to reach Eidolon 6 in Honkai Star Rail, primarily due to the free shards obtained from the Simulated Universe. She holds her ground as a decent character, wielding potent AoE damage in both her Skill and Ultimate. Moreover, when an enemy drops to 50% health or lower, she executes an AoE Follow-up attack. Herta shines particularly well in the early stages of the game, and her prowess has only been amplified by the Ashblazing Grand Duke Relic set. Anticipation runs high for her increased utility once the new Pure Fiction game mode is launched.

Honkai Star Rail Best D-Tier Characters

The D-tier characters in Honkai Star Rail represent the weaker end of the spectrum. While they possess potential, these characters require substantial investment and specific team compositions to truly excel.

Sushang

Sushang stands as a respectable single-target Hunt character specializing in Physical damage. Her speed receives a substantial boost when foes are broken. Her Skill deals commendable single-target physical damage, occasionally triggering Sword Stance for additional enemy damage. This stance becomes a guaranteed hit against weakness-broken enemies, becoming her primary source of damage. Additionally, her Ultimate provides strong single-target damage and advances her turn by 100%.

Despite her appeal, Sushang’s damage output isn’t as significant as others like Dan Heng, who can apply the valuable Slow debuff on enemies. In Honkai Star Rail’s phase 2 , Sushang will be introduced in the Honkai Star Rail 1.6 banners.

Hook

Hook is another reasonable character within Honkai Star Rail. Her Skill boasts solid single-target damage, simultaneously inflicting Burn on enemies. As she levels up, the Burn’s damage scales accordingly, allowing her to deal significant damage when fully developed. Her consistent damage output makes early-game content quite manageable, particularly against Fire Weakness adversaries. However, she doesn’t particularly stand out when compared to other DPS characters.

Sampo

Sampo is a proficient DoT dealer, swiftly accumulating Wind shear stacks on adversaries. His Skill bounces between enemies, dealing Wind damage and applying Wind shear up to 5 times. Although its efficiency varies with multiple enemies due to RNG, it excels against a single target. Additionally, Sampo’s Ultimate induces vulnerability to DoTs on enemies, rendering him a decent choice for teams focusing on Damage over Time strategies.

Honkai Star Rail Best E-Tier Characters

The E-tier characters in Honkai Star Rail are considered the least effective, offering minimal value or impact to any team composition.

Arlan

Arlan is often regarded as the least favorable character in Honkai Star Rail. While his playstyle resembles Blade’s, he lacks the substantial damage output. Despite consuming his HP to boost damage, his multipliers are notably below average, resulting in minimal impact and negligible damage.

Physical Trailblazer

Placing Physical Trailblazer in the E tier was quite a challenge for me personally, as I have a soft spot for the Galactic Baseballer. However, when evaluating their kit, it’s evident that their focus on single and blast Physical damage falls short in terms of damage output compared to other DPS characters.

This tier list for Honkai Star Rail was meticulously crafted by thoroughly examining each character and their kit’s performance across early, mid, and late-game content. We’re eager to hear your take on our tier list and discover your favorite characters. Share your thoughts with us about the characters list in the comments section below!
