Explore The Best Heavy Builds in The Finals

The Heavy class stands as arguably the most potent among the three classes in The Finals, offering the potential for formidable builds. Whether prioritizing defense or aiming to become an imposing tank, players can effortlessly achieve both. The limited yet diverse kit of the Heavy class allows for the creation of remarkable builds. In our exploration, we’ve crafted optimal builds to provide initial guidance for Heavy class enthusiasts.

The Machine Gun Build

Weapon: Lewis gun
Gadget: RPG, Pyro Grenade, Goo Grenade
Specialization: Mesh Shield

The initial heavy build we’ve devised for The Finals centers around the machine gun, leveraging the heavy’s substantial health pool for a straightforward approach. The primary objective of this build is to secure kills for the team while prioritizing their survival.

Ideally, it is recommended to complement this build with the support build designed for the medium class. Even in the absence of a dedicated healer, this setup allows players to unleash chaos on the opposing team.

Weapon

Dubbed the machinegun build, our choice for The Finals is the Lewis Gun. As the designated machine gun for the heavy class, it serves as the cornerstone for this particular build. The Lewis Gun boasts a remarkable rate of fire and delivers substantial damage per bullet effortlessly.

A few precisely aimed shots are sufficient to swiftly dismantle opponents, and when combined with other classes, it ensures a higher count of confirmed kills.

Gadgets

To enhance this build, we’ve selected three gadgets: RPG, Pyro Grenade, and Goo Grenade.

The RPG takes precedence as the primary gadget for heavy players. Its high-damage explosive capability can bring down entire structures, offering opportunities for strategic advantages. A well-timed RPG shot not only allows for individual takedowns but, if swift, can also inflict substantial damage to the entire enemy team.

The second gadget in our selection is the trusty pyro grenade. With the RPG handling cashout zone breaches, there’s no need for a breach charge. The pyro grenade, upon impact, initiates immediate damage, making it effective for preventing enemies from stealing the cashout.

For overall defense, the goo grenade is recommended. While it doesn’t offer prolonged player protection, it creates temporary obstacles at different locations, impeding opponent entry. Additionally, it provides a momentary interruption to incoming bullets.

Specialization

To enhance durability and withstand prolonged assaults, we’ve chosen the mesh shield for specialization. This specialization provides a substantial 1,100 health shield positioned at the front of the heavy, enabling effective blocking of bullets and most gadgets when facing them head-on.

A notable advantage is that team members can shoot through the shield, allowing the entire team to exert pressure on opponents. However, it’s crucial to note that the back remains completely exposed, necessitating protection from incoming damage by one of your teammates.

Ultimate Defense Build

Weapon: SA216
Gadget: RPG, Dome Shield, Barricade
Specialization: Mesh Shield

Our second recommended heavy build for players in The Finals is a defense-oriented setup designed to thwart opponents attempting to steal cashouts. This defensive build prioritizes protecting your team during gunfights, placing a heightened emphasis on cashout defense rather than general defense.

Weapon

Opting for the SA216 as our weapon of choice, the rationale is straightforward. Given the predominant close-quarters combat scenarios we anticipate, this gun proves instrumental in achieving our objectives when confronted by enemies rushing your cashout. The SA216, being a potent auto-shotgun, excels in delivering substantial damage even at a distance.

Gadget

In our gadget selection, we’re focusing exclusively on defense-oriented and support gadgets. This entails the RPG, Dome Shield, and a Breach Charge.

Retaining the RPG remains crucial for immediate damage in confined spaces. Its high damage output proves invaluable, significantly impacting the health of opponents and potentially eliminating them. Additionally, the RPG can be utilized to alter room layouts by causing structural changes such as dropping ceilings.

The second gadget in our selection is the Dome Shield, a 360-degree deployable shield that provides bullet protection for a limited duration. This compels opponents to enter the dome to launch attacks, while you and your team can shoot through it, gaining a crucial advantage. When adversaries push into the dome shield, capitalize on the situation by using your shotgun to neutralize them effectively.

For emergency cashout box defense, our choice is the barricade. In moments when you and your team are attempting to steal the cashout, strategically place two barricades around the cashout floor, taking cover. Amidst the chaos, systematically overwhelm opponents, ensuring a tactical advantage to eliminate them.

Specialization

In terms of specialization, the reliable mesh shield is once again our choice. Given the defensive nature of this build, opting for anything else doesn’t seem preferable. We won’t delve extensively into the shield’s details here, as we’ve already covered its usage above. However, deploy it when facing challenging situations, especially in tight areas, and when confronted with a barrage of bullets and grenades.

These are the two heavy builds we’ve crafted for The Finals, providing you with options to experiment with. Ultimately, the effectiveness of each build depends on your personal preferences and the playstyle you wish to adopt. We’re eager to hear from you, share your go-to heavy class build for The Finals in the comments.
