Where to Locate the Star Destroyer in Fortnite

To use the Star Destroyer in Fortnite, you’ll need to stay alive until the second storm circle begins. After the first zone closes, you’ll see a warning message on your screen that reads, “Star Destroyer Portal is Open.”

Once that message pops up, start scanning the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 map for the portal. Check the image below to get a visual reference of what it looks like. Since the portal can appear anywhere on the map, it’s a smart move to have a vehicle ready getting there quickly can give you the upper hand before others arrive.

How to Use the Star Destroyer in Fortnite

Once you arrive at the location, you’ll spot a portal that looks similar to the lightsaber training ones. Press E to interact with it, and you’ll be transported into the Star Destroyer. While inside, you can aim freely and fire laser missiles. To zoom in before launching a missile, use the alt-fire button for better precision.

Star Destroyer Damage and Other Stats

After entering the Star Destroyer, you’ll see a 90-second timer at the top of your screen. Once that timer hits zero, you’ll be ejected back outside. The Star Destroyer has unlimited ammo and a short 2-second cooldown between shots so don’t hold back. Fire off those missiles as fast as you can to make the most of your limited time.

The Star Destroyer also has the ability to scan up to 25 players beneath you, making it easier to track down enemies. When you’re firing solo, each missile deals 90 damage. However, the damage scales down depending on your party size 72 in duos, 54 in trios, and 36 in squads. This limited-time feature will be available until the Star Wars Galactic Battle Finale, so make sure to give it a shot while you can!
