RedStone, a prominent oracle service provider known for its work in real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, has officially expanded to the Solana blockchain. This integration aims to offer high-quality institutional asset data to decentralized finance (DeFi) developers on Solana.
Through partnerships with Securitize and Wormhole Queries, RedStone is enabling tokenized investment products like Apollo’s ACRED and BlackRock’s BUIDL to become accessible on Solana’s fast and scalable network.
This move signals a progression from basic asset tokenization to full composability—allowing these tokenized assets to be actively used within DeFi protocols for lending, yield strategies, and more.
The first real use case, Drift Institutional, is preparing to adopt RedStone’s data feeds. This marks the beginning of increased institutional involvement in Solana-native DeFi platforms.
RedStone co-founder Marcin Kazmierczak described the integration as a crucial step toward making real-world assets both visible and functional within the Solana ecosystem.
Securitize, which partners with major asset managers such as BlackRock and Apollo, currently oversees over $3.6 billion in tokenized assets. Reid Simon, the firm’s head of credit and DeFi, emphasized that this development moves the industry closer to seamless interaction between traditional finance (TradFi) and decentralized finance.
Solana’s Growing Presence in DeFi
Solana’s fast, cost-efficient infrastructure makes it an ideal platform for hosting real-world financial products within the decentralized finance (DeFi) space.
With RedStone now delivering secure, verified asset data via Wormhole Queries, developers on Solana can begin creating DeFi applications linked to off-chain assets that offer consistent yields.
This move builds on RedStone’s previous RWA integration with Morpho on Polygon, where an ACRED-backed vault was successfully launched. The expansion to Solana could accelerate similar offerings, bridging the gap between institutional investors and everyday users.
The partnership also highlights how oracle solutions and standardized tokenization can turn real-world assets from a concept into practical, yield-generating tools within DeFi.
