With Google announcing significant changes to Android updates for Android 16, manufacturers must make a concerted effort to implement these updates. This is especially challenging as Android 15 was released last November, and many devices are still on Android 14, awaiting the Android 15 upgrade. OnePlus was one of the fastest manufacturers to release Android 15, and if you’re anticipating Android 16, here’s a list of OnePlus phones that will receive it.
Android 16: List of Supported OnePlus Phones
OxygenOS 15, based on Android 15, was one of the most significant updates to OxygenOS in years. OnePlus has committed to providing up to four major Android updates for its flagships starting from the OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 13R, making many devices eligible for Android 16.
It’s important to note that it’s not confirmed whether the release will be named OxygenOS 16. This list is based on device launch dates and the number of promised updates. Let’s begin with the flagship and flagship killer models.
OnePlus Phones
The OnePlus 13 and 13R are set to receive four major Android updates, allowing them to upgrade to Android 19.

The OnePlus 11 and 12 will each receive four major updates, while the OnePlus 11R and 12R are guaranteed three major updates, with Android 16 being the final one for the 11R.
OnePlus Nord Series
The OnePlus Nord 4, a new mid-range device, will receive four major OS updates, a departure from previous models. Android 16 will be the last update for the Nord CE 4, CE 4 Lite, and Nord 3.

OnePlus Foldables and Tablets
Like the OnePlus flagships, the OnePlus Open will receive four major Android updates, making it eligible for Android 16. However, the OnePlus Pad and Pad Go, which launched with Android 13, have reached their end of life and will not receive Android 16. The OnePlus Pad 2, released with OxygenOS 14 and recently upgraded to OxygenOS 15, will get both Android 16 and 17.

These are the only devices eligible for the OxygenOS 16 update based on Android 16, excluding many OnePlus devices that have reached their end of life. OxygenOS 16 is expected soon, as OnePlus has partnered with Google to test the Android 16 Beta on the OnePlus 13, which has already received two Betas. If Google releases Android 16 in May, the OnePlus 13 and 12 series could receive the update by June or July.
