Microsoft is gearing up for its hardware event in 2023, set to take place next week. During this event, the tech giant is expected to unveil the latest additions to its Surface device lineup, including the highly-anticipated Surface Laptop Studio 2 and the new Surface Laptop Go 3. Leaked Surface Laptop Studio 2
A recent report from Winfuture.de has unveiled detailed specifications for the Surface Laptop Studio 2 and the Surface Laptop Go 3. The Surface Laptop Studio 2, positioned as a high-end product, is expected to closely resemble its predecessor.
This new iteration could feature the latest Nvidia RTX 40-Series GPUs and up to 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM, marking a first for the Surface Laptop Studio series. It is anticipated to offer processor options, including the 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13700H and Core i7-13800H, and storage configurations of up to 1TB of SSD. It’s worth noting that an entry-level version with a Core i5 processor, 256GB of storage, and 16GB of RAM was initially expected but may have been canceled.
The Surface Laptop Studio 2 is expected to feature a 14.4-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a resolution of 2400×1600 pixels, and a 3:2 aspect ratio. This display is likely to support stylus input. In terms of connectivity, the laptop may include new features such as a microSD card reader, a USB Type-A port, and two Thunderbolt 4 ports, alongside other options.

The more affordable Surface Laptop Go 3 is expected to feature an Intel Core i5-1235U CPU, a 12.45-inch display, up to 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. Its starting price is anticipated to be around Euros 899 (~ Rs 79,500). The event could also bring announcements for other products, including the Surface Pro 10, the Surface Go 4, and more. Additionally, Microsoft may introduce information regarding the Windows 11 23H2 update.
