In Genshin Impact 4.1, the introduction of two new Fontaine characters, Wriothesley and Neuvilette, has sparked excitement among players. As we highlighted in our Genshin Impact 4.1 coverage, Wriothesley is expected to debut in the first half of the update, with Neuvilette following in the second half. With Genshin Impact 4.1 nearly a month away, now is an ideal time to begin gathering materials for both characters, ensuring a smooth process for ascending and leveling up their talents. Here’s a pre-farming guide for Wriothesley and Neuvilette.
Genshin Impact Wriothesley – Farming Guide
For those who may not be up-to-date with leaks and rumors, Wriothesley is a tall male Cryo character and Catalyst user. Similar to Shikanoin Heizou, he employs Cryo-infused punches and a device for dealing damage. Wriothesley, highly anticipated since the Genshin Impact 4.0 leaks, takes on the role of a damage dealer (DPS) and is part of the Fontaine character lineup. Here are the materials you need to farm to ensure he can reach level 90 smoothly, should you decide to wish for him.
Ascension Materials
Defeat Cryo monsters such as the Cryo Regisvine, Cryo Azdaha, and Primo Geovishap to obtain Shivada Jades. Gears can be acquired by defeating Clockwork Mekas in Fontaine. Subdetection units and Tubion Devices will become available once Genshin Impact 4.1 is released.
Talent Level-up Materials
Genshin Impact Neuvilette – Farming Guide
Similar to Wriothesley, Monsieur Neuvilette, the Chief Justice of Fontaine, requires two main materials for Ascension: a boss drop from the upcoming boss Millennial Pearl Seahorse and a regional specialty. Like Wriothesley, Neuvilette is also a Catalyst user and is rumored to function as a DPS character.
Ascension Materials
Varunada Lazurites, obtainable by defeating Hydro monsters such as Hydro Azdaha, Oceanid, and Primo Geovishap, are abundant and accessible. Lumitoile, a regional specialty unique to a specific Fontaine region, can be gathered. Defeat most enemies within Fontaine waters to obtain Xenochromatic Crystals.
Talent Level-up Materials
It’s worth noting that both Wriothesley and Neuvilette require materials from upcoming bosses in Genshin Impact 4.1, which have been recently leaked. Not much information is available about the Experimental Field Generator and the Millennial Pearl Seahorse, except that the former employs gravity, and the latter utilizes Electro to inflict damage. These bosses are not present in the game as of version 4.0, so farming for their drops is currently unavailable.
Regarding the other materials, with the exception of the Subdetection Unit and Lumitoile (which are also currently unavailable for farming), all of them can be obtained within Fontaine. Some of these materials might already be in your inventory. Pre-farming for Neuvilette should be relatively straightforward, as both the bosses and materials will be introduced as soon as Genshin Impact 4.1 is released.
