What Is a Pokemon GO Raid?
Raid battles are large online battles where a powerful Pokemon appears randomly at a gym for an hour with set timings. Nearby players can team up during this period to defeat the Pokemon. Successful completion rewards players with the raid Pokemon and various bonuses like XP, Stardust, and more Pokeballs.
To participate in a raid, you’ll need a Raid Pass, usually obtained by spinning the Photo Disc at a gym. Use the Raid Pass at an active event to join the battle. While physical presence is required for Raid Battles, a Remote Raid Pass, available for 195 PokeCoins, allows remote participation.
