Unlock Your PlayStation 5 Experience: Register Now for Zenless Zone Zero Technical Tests!

Zenless Zone Zero is set to join HoYoverse’s vibrant lineup of action combat gacha games, with rumors suggesting a 2024 release date. Currently, the game is undergoing technical tests on PC, Android, and iOS, with sign-ups now open for PlayStation 5. If you’re keen to participate, here’s what you need to know.

The Zenless Zone Zero PlayStation 5 technical test sign-ups will begin at 11:00 AM on April 10 (UTC+8) and close at 03:00 PM on April 17 (UTC+8), giving players just over a week to register.

To sign up, visit the designated page, log in to your HoYoverse account, and complete the survey. Following the sign-up period, qualifying participants will receive emails from HoYoverse with further details, so be sure to monitor your inbox and spam folder after signing up.

The game is already available for wishlist on the Epic Games Store, and we anticipate a pre-registration announcement for iOS and Android once the Amplifying test concludes across all platforms.

Zenless Zone Zero is poised to be a significant competitor to Wuthering Waves, particularly in the combat aspect. Both games are scheduled for a 2024 release, with Wuthering Waves hitting the shelves on May 22, 2024. The recent conclusion of Wuthering Waves’ Closed Beta 2 tests left testers impressed with the game’s direction and improvements, as revealed in a recent livestream showcasing additional enhancements before the official launch.

Zenless Zone Zero boasts an impressive and impactful combat system and expansive open maps, offering a gameplay experience that, while not technically open-world, provides a similar sense of freedom. HoYoverse’s strategy seems to be centered around releasing games with distinct styles, catering to various genres within the gacha gaming community.

What are your thoughts on Zenless Zone Zero and its potential rivalry with Wuthering Waves? Do you foresee yourself transitioning away from Genshin Impact after the launch of either of these games?
