Since the announcement of the Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut for PC, gamers have eagerly anticipated its May 16 release. A recent PlayStation blog post has now provided additional details.
According to Nixxes Software, there is new information about cross-play support in Legends Mode and the inclusion of PlayStation trophies. The official PC system requirements and a new PlayStation overlay for PC have also been revealed.
As previously announced, the Ghost of Tsushima PC release will include the full game, the Iki Island expansion, and the online co-op multiplayer Legends mode. The development team has confirmed that Legends mode will feature cross-play support, allowing PC players to team up with those on PS4 and PS5. Players will also be able to use in-game voice chat for communication. To access Legends mode, players simply need to sign in with their PlayStation Network account.
In the PC version, a new PlayStation overlay has been introduced, accessible by pressing the “SHIFT + F1” shortcut on your keyboard. Additionally, you can access the PlayStation overlay directly from your in-game menu. This section of the overlay conveniently displays your Friends list, Trophies, Settings, and Profile.
The blog post also highlights that Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut PC offers complete support for achievements on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Furthermore, the game features the identical Trophy set found on PlayStation 5 consoles.
Ghost of Tsushima PC System Requirements
We previously learned that Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut for PC is optimized for ultra-wide monitors, supporting 21:9 and 32:9 resolutions, as well as 48:9 resolutions and triple monitor setups. Now, we have the specific system requirements for the game:
In addition to the aforementioned specs, you’ll need 75 GB of storage and at least Windows 10 64-bit to run the game. It also includes various graphics presets designed to ensure smooth performance on older hardware and to maximize visuals on high-end PCs.
The game also supports advanced optimization technologies for even better performance. You can enhance frames using NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3, Intel XeSS, or improve image quality further with NVIDIA DLAA or AMD FSR 3 Native AA. As previously announced, the game will feature full controller support, including comprehensive compatibility with the PlayStation DualSense controller, offering haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
