To make this happen, you’ll simply need to tap the microphone icon next to the search bar. You can either record the song or hum it for about 3 seconds, and YouTube’s voice search will work its magic to identify the song. Once identified, you’ll be presented with the official song content along with relevant user videos or Shorts right within the YouTube app.
Testing and Availability
As of now, this feature is undergoing testing with a limited group of Android users across the globe. There’s no official word on when it will roll out for everyone, including iOS users.
