What to Expect: OnePlus 12R
For the first time, the OnePlus ‘R’ series, including the OnePlus 12R, will extend its reach beyond India. Historically exclusive to India, this move marks a significant expansion.
Though the OnePlus 12R hasn’t been officially unveiled yet, earlier leaks provide insights. It’s expected to resemble the OnePlus 12 but with slightly dialed-down features tailored for a flagship killer segment. This may include a 6.7-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a 50MP triple rear camera setup, among other specifications. Speculations suggest a larger 5,500mAh battery, similar to the OnePlus 12, and support for 100W fast charging. The device is likely to run on OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14.
